A couple weeks go by, that bank calls wanting proof that the other vehicle was, in fact totaled, which I obviously couldn't provide them with. So was called by Carmack to return the truck. The shady lie did not work. Basically an extensive test drive. Positive note, I'm sold on the truck, I'll just be shopping elsewhere next time.

They were mostly just trying to sell us a car and were incredibly persistent. They might be a good dealership otherwise, but that contest was a total scam. If that's how they handle contests, I can't imagine how their 'deals' actually are.

On this date 2/19/25 we drove from Indianapolis to Danville IL to purchase a car listed on the internet at $34,142 but upon arrival the price increased by $6000. The dealer added a Patriot Package for $2000 which is a warranty plan but it was not better than the factory warranty yet they refused to remove this extra charge. I eventually increased my offer to $35k (over their asking price) but still the idiot sales manager refused to remove the Patriot Package and I left without making a deal. They also miscalculated the sales tax in their favor. The sales manager Ryan Cochran is a kid who clearly is in over his head and has no idea what he is doing. Only an imbecile would let a deal like mine walk out the door.

Meanwhile Honda still hounds me for payments on a car that Patriot has for sale on their lot with not a care in the world that my credit is being affected. Patriot accounting is even avoiding my calls. Definitely would not recommend Patriot. My last attempt to call Patriot I was called an "asshole" and hung up on. Real nice customer service.

Rentals, auto repairs, tires, mowers, etc. They also have a plumbing company. We were in a bind because our plumber was ill and couldn't do our bath job that was in progress. Day one the plumber said he couldn't give us a price, would have to go back to his shop and work on it. During the job we asked 3 more times, and got the same response. He also informed us that if he didn't buy the parts that he couldn't guarantee his work. We should have taken that as a hint of what was to come. But this was our first remodeling job. We bought our own tub, sink etc. So all he had to buy was the pipes and all that go with that. The job was done but still no price. Finally got the bill after going out to the company, and it was too vague. All it said was Bath Remodel with a large amount due. He didn't remodel our bath, just did the pipes. I know that a breakdown for plumbers isn't common apparently, but we wanted one. My husband wasn't paying the high amount without a breakdown. After 3 more trips to their office, we finally got a breakdown. $140.00 per hour.... parts have approximately a 87% mark up to the best we can figure. Also, they charge you the fee for using a credit card. We don't recommend them neither will we use them for anything in the future. Lesson learned. Feels like a planned ripoff.. no price for the job up front or the hourly rate. All I can say good about the company was the guy at the front desk. He did what he could to help us.

I simply called to see if they still had a van I saw online, and they kept calling me to try to set up appointments to see the van, even even though I clearly said after the first call that I did not know when I would able to come in. But they kept pushing to contact me and set up an appointment. I received multiple automated and personal texts, even though I opted out of the first automated one. Still continued to receive them. And I have received texts, calls, and voicemails from 2 sales representatives for the past 3 days. They do NOT take no for an answer, and they do not get the hint. Even after I called to tell them I was reporting them if they contacted me again, the guy called me right back and texted me to ask when I would be available to see the van. Are you kidding me? Yeah, don't waste your time going to this business, unless you like getting chased.
