Daren is a great inspector. We hired him for our new home build's pre-drywall inspection in Mid Nov 2021. He reached the new house at 7-8am in the morning and started inspecting. We planned to meet him with a 3 hours gap so that he can complete the inspection and then we can go over his findings. So, around 10am I met him with my realtors and he explained to us all the issues he had found, he explained with no rush, no shortcuts or running out of time etc. Within 2 hours he sent me the report explaining all the issues he went over when we met. He had a detailed report of 24 pages. To be honest, it scared me that my house had so many issues, but glad I got the inspection done by him as I shared the inspection report with my builder and they started working on it. He marked with chalk by circling or making arrows on the slab ground or wood throughout the house, which helped to identify the issues easily. In the report as well, he marked the most important issues with red stars to let know which are more serious issues and must need to be solved. I found Daren by my realtor's referral. We wanted to hire him for final home inspection as well but by then he had moved to a far location so he couldn't make it. But I would say, pre-dry wall inspection and post inspection both are super important and must need to be done by any home buyer. It helps you to know what condition your house is in. read more

I am selling my home, Mr. Wright did the first inspection for the potential buyers. I was working on fixing the items the buyers wanted me to fix, and still had ample time to do so. The sell fell through and my sale was contigent on the sale of the buyers home, which did not happen. Now a month later I have a buyer, and they had Mr. Wright do the inspection. He told them that I had fixed nothing from his first inspection. Untrue. The switches were replaced, the cover for the outside electrical box was bought but not put on yet, the buyers accepted a credit to buy matching faucets upstairs, the buyer accepted another credit to have the pigeons dealt with, the bathtubs both had stoppers, the electrical outlet in the bathroom was fixed, the repairs for the drywall were purchased and were to be done at a leter date. The buyer at the time accepted those terms, but Mr. Wright told the newer buyers that I had done nothing and they backed out of the deal. Mr. Wright, it is not your place to say what was fixed or not. It is your job to tell the buyers what needs to be addressed and fixed. They do not need to know what YOU think about me, the seller, and what was or was not fixed. Any new list you would have given them would have been taken and the buyers and I would then determine what was required to be fixed by me before the sale was completed. That is why they have a walkthrough prior to signing to complete the purchase. I had the things necessary for the repairs I was asked to do right there on the counter. On 2/9/2019 I saw a vehicle for Wright Inspections push a a shopping cart into another vehicle and then drive away in the parking lot of Frys Electronics in Tempe. The driver of the vehicle knew it happened because the cart got caught between his truck and the other vehicle while he was turning out of the parking spot and you could see the truck jerk until the shopping cart cleared. Thankfully the vehicle that got hit did not receive much damage but the Toyota Tacoma's right rear quarter panel was dented in pretty good. If this company/person does not care enough to do the right thing and take responsibility for the accident then why wold you trust them to inspect your house. read more

They do a great job at inspecting and explaining. Wright Inspections found a lot of items when they inspected the home I was buying, but then they put it all in perspective. They told me that there is no "perfect house" and that most of the items were simple repairs or maintenance that I could handle myself.
