I submitted my first request for a quote through Home Advisor on 12/18/2018. No response for 10 days. On 10/27 I received a call from a Home Advisor CSR, who asked me how my experience with WFI had gone. I explained that WFI had never contacted me. She undertook to facilitate the communication, and within the hour I got a call from WFI. The person who called me committed to sending someone out for a quote on Jan. 3 (I explained that I may not be home, but since it was a gutter repair, they were welcome to examine the problem even in my absence.) I gave very clear instructions, both in the original Home Advisor request and to the person from WFI, about where the repair was to made.
It is now January 10, and I have never heard back from them. I called this morning to ask for a response and had to leave a voice message, to which they did not respond. Way too much trouble for a minor gutter repair. Perhaps their schedule and business model only has room for larger jobs, but their response to potential customers is one of the most unprofessional I have ever experienced. Professionals do not make commitments that they do not intend to keep. WFI did just that.
Addition on Jan. 11, 2019 - After this review was submitted to Home Advisor (and I assume transmitted to the business) I received the following email from Angie, who originally contacted me and committed to the inspection and quote (following is the ENTIRE text of the email - please note the lack of even a salutation:)
"If you are interested in a free gutter estimate please contact WFI Gutters @910-319-9595 (txt also) to set up an appointment.

Please note also the utter lack of an apology, even a weak one for my inconvenience, or even a slight attempt at an explanation for their unprofessional behavior. Why would I waste any more time dealing with arrogant idiots like this? read more
