Maybe instead of replying to negative reviews with even more negativity you can take some steps to better yourself. Believe the negative reviews. Did not have a good experience a few years ago--said he came for a scheduled appointment but he didn't come to my house - I was home all day. When I tried to have him reschedule he said he would call me back and never did. Second interaction (and he probably won't remember) I worked at a local establishment where he came in and ordered. I knew who he was immediately and he drove it home with his rude tone and condescending manner. Every time he is brought up on local social media pages I don't understand why people recommend him. I called Wrex Wildlife and Pest Service for a raccoon issue. I was very disappointed in the service. chris put eviction fluid in my inside exhaust vent which is a misuse of the product. Its not to be used inside. He set traps, but didnt come back to clean/reset them. He said he was going to put a camera at the suspected entry point but never did. He never communicated a clear plan to rid my house of raccoons. He seemed to be inexperienced in this area His last suggestion was to put a radio on the loudest setting and place it again, in my vents. He didn't seem to be aware that this would create a situation that would be untenable for any length of time for me and my family . When i asked him to come up with methods that would not make the humans lives too uncomfortable , he did not nor could suggest an a single alternative. His third option would be to rip up my floors/walls to get to the babies. I told him, that unless that option came with the cost of his services, then no way!! He only refunded me half my money and i still have a problem . He got paid to do nothing . Chris should stick to bees and wasps, as raccoons were clearly out of his depth. At first , upon initially hiring Wrex wildlife and pest control ( Chris ) , I thought he was great . He was efficient , affordable , reliable and responsive . He explained everything he was doing In order to help in eliminating my pest issue . All attributes that stand out in a business when a specific service is needed . However, fast forward , the last few months have been a nightmare trying to get him to maintain pest control . He is mostly non responsive to any messages or inquiries , however , the few times he has responded , he scheduled a time and date only to not show up . This has happened more than once. I gave him the benefit of the doubt despite his void in communication, only to be met with the same outcome . Not showing up ! Since , he has continued to avoid my messages along with other customers in my development, who are reaching out to inquire and utilize his service . This is not only unprofessional , but a tarnish to his business . Don't waist your time . You're better off researching someone who is much more reliable and communicative. read more

Chris responded quickly and took care of our problem which we greatly appreciated at a fair price. When I called with a question that my husband (who was running our child to camp in the midst of hai visit) to clarify if the nest itself would be removed he was a bit on the condescending side that he already told us what he did etc, and he would work out an additional fee if we wanted to remove the remains of the nest. We declined as long as the wasps were dead. No complaints about promptness or effectiveness or even the information he provided which was helpful but have to agree his interaction left me with me a bit off put as a first time customer. read more

I'd like to start this review by saying that Chris and his team at Wrex Wildlife are friendly, polite, and knowledgeable- the only reason I'm giving them 1 star. I typically prefer to support small businesses over larger companies, which is why I decided to give them a chance. Unfortunately, my overall experience with this company was extremely disappointing, and I cannot recommend their services based on what I encountered. I chose Chris not because he was the cheapest option, but because he offered a service that other companies didn't: a full 360° perimeter inspection and sealing of any gaps, cracks, and entry points around my property. However, when I later asked when this would be completed, he denied ever offering this service. I also had bats nesting in the eaves of my home, which were creating a mess on my driveway and cars. Chris placed steel wool in the openings and told me he would return in the spring to install trim to make it look cleaner and prevent staining on my siding. He never followed through and later denied making that promise as well. Scheduling was another major issue. Chris was late to every single appointment (not exaggerating), and there were multiple times when he didn't show up at all. I went out of my way to adjust my schedule or arrange access to my home for his team, only to be left waiting. When he did come, the visits were brief--he would walk around for 5 minutes, set a few traps, and tell me he'd return in two weeks. Those follow up- again, I'm not exaggerating- would never happen without me chasing him down, re-explaining my situation, and reintroducing myself because he didn't seem to keep records of his customers. After a year of working with this company, my pest problem remains unresolved, and I've decided to go with a larger, more reliable provider. I signed up for WreX Wildlife's Home Protection Plan, which included four scheduled visits. They only completed two. After that, they repeatedly missed appointments, ignored messages, and stopped responding altogether. When I followed up about the lack of service, the owner replied with sarcasm and refused to take responsibility. Their website advertises 24/7 availability, but they used scheduling excuses after confirming appointments they didn't show up for. I've filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I wouldn't recommend this business due to poor communication, unprofessional conduct, and failure to deliver what was promised. read more

I had a wasp nest in the bricks of my home and called WREX. Chris answered the phone immediately and was willing to come over within the hour, but I asked if we could schedule for the next day, which he happily agreed to. On the day of the appointment, I was running late and Chris had another job to get to. I expected him to reschedule me for another day (which I would have completely understood), but instead he finished his other job and came back to my house the same day. He treated the nest quickly and explained the process clearly, reassuring me that if any wasps were still around after 24 hours, he'd return. When a few stragglers showed up, I texted Chris, and without hesitation he told me he would be back on Monday and not to worry. I totally trust Chris and the process!" read more

He texted me an appointment to confirm at 11:30 am and I did . 11:45 came around and I called him and he tells me he cannot make it because I am to far ! Meanwhile he had my address! Beware- if it seems too good to be true, it is. I paid Chris on Monday to remove a large hornet nest from my peach tree. He did appear to remove most of the nest, but the next day I saw they were still in the same spot. He said to wait 24 to 48 hours and they would die. So I waited. On Wednesday morning they were clearly rebuilding the nest, so I asked him to come back. He had said his work is guaranteed. There was rain forecast for later in the day, so he said he would come the next day. On Thursday he said he had 40 other jobs to do ahead of mine. By the end of the day when he didn't come I questioned why he was doing other jobs first when he had not accomplished the job I paid him for on Monday. He became enraged and started screaming at me in the phone and hung up. Truly terrifying. Beware. read more

There was a sick raccoon on our patio and Wrex came within half an hour to pick up and remove it. Very quick, fast and professional and happy to answer any and all questions. Would def recommend to all and use again in the future. read more

We had WREX come out because we believed we were having a rodent problem in our house. Their consultation was very thorough and they were reasonably priced compared to the competition. Albeit Chris is a little quirky he is clearly very knowledgeable and Kari is absolutely lovely. My issue was that we signed up for their plan which was supposed to include quarterly visits and although it does sound like they did come to check out the exterior of the house, a few were missed which we "paid for" in the plan. I called to ask Chris whether those were included and conveniently we were due for a visit the next week and he also let me know my plan was up for renewal in a couple of months. They came back out that week and shortly after I told them I did not plan on renewing and immediately there after they came to pick up their equipment (even though I still had a few months before the renewal date). All in all I think they are knowledgeable but I do not think I would refer them to a friend. read more

Wow I don't know when I've been spoken to that rudely! I called about a snake in my house. This guy tells me incredibly condescendingly that I have to "keep my eye on the snake" because he's not a detective. When I say there will be no way for me to do that and also go downstairs and open the door to let him in, he tells me (again condescendingly) that he doesn't have a solution for me and I'll have to try another company. read more

We are so happy we went with Wrex Wildlife for our groundhog problem! I was fine have them living rent free on my property until the little family dug tunnels under my pool and riped our liner! Time to go! Chris's methods caught the mama and the 3 babies within a week and filled in the dens so we won't have any new ground hogs move in. Whenever we confirmed there was a groundhog (or other critters) in the cages, Chris came out in a timely manner to clear them away and reset the traps until they were all caught! Wrex Wildlife was a very affordable solution for our costly uninvited furry friends! I would hire them again for any backyard needs and have already recommend them to local friends who have some pests! read more

WARNING: Chris used expletives when he didn't like my factual statements. Chris had scheduled me for 5pm and did not state there would be a range. I would have been perfectly fine with a range had I been informed, and I pointed this out to him. To this he stated he did not understand why it would have been important to inform me that he arrives within a range vs a specified time. He then proceeded to not honor his price of $100 and increased it to $250 or $249 on the spot only because he didn't appreciate that he was being held accountable for his statements. He dropped expletives when he didn't like what we were saying. It's never OK to speak to a customer in that manner. This individual lacks self-control. We did not use any expletives when speaking to you. That being said, you may not have liked that your states were being questioned (even though this is our right) or the fact that I was holding you accountable for statements in your text messages to me, but it doesn't give you the right to go off the deep end the way you did. You may offer a service but your behavior was grotesque to say the least. read more

When I called Chris about my squirrel problem, he arrived lightning fast. He is super knowledgeable and answered all my questions. He caught the squirrels and sealed up all is the entry points so they wouldn't come back. So glad I ended up using wrex. I now use Chris for all of my pest problems and couldn't be happier. read more

He Lies and is unprofessional. I waited over an hour past our appointment time for him and then I texted asking if I had the wrong day, he said : "my wife came by, walked the perimeter", and told me the price. There is NO WAY she had access to the perimeter without authorization (this is for a school garden). When asked what time she was there, he said 12:30 - a half hour after our appointment time. I was sitting in the garden waiting for him., and she could not have even known where the garden was. He was RUDE and short with I asked about when her visit was , and THEN HE HUNG UP ON ME!! Wasted my time, no respect for the situation, no respect for me as a professional needing help for a children's garden. Obviously did not want or need the business. Call someone else. read more
