I went to Cool Springs Plastic Surgery (mallory lane location) for skin resurfacing and filler…read moretreatment. I have been treated by Haley the NP on several occasions. She is absolutely fantastic! Having been to numerous dermatologists and surgeons in the field I have never met someone so balanced with interpersonal skills as well as medical knowledge and technical skill. She is an absolute professional and can't say enough great things! The entire staff from when you walk in the door is also very welcoming and kind. It's easy to feel out of place in the area of dermatology and cosmetics as a male at other offices, but they make you feel right at home and you get the feeling all of the patients are just as satisfied. Can't wait to go back! -Clayton T

I used to go to CSPS for Botox and always had a great experience with my injector. I only switched…read moreproviders due to cost, they are priced too high per unit. This review is actually about Heather Happy though. It's overdue but I finally decided to post bc I'd hate for anyone else to have such a miserable experience. I've probably told a hundred + people by word of mouth over the years but should've posted here originally. I paid to have bbl and halo done with Heather Happy and had a ridiculously horrible experience. She did ZERO numbing. I repeat ZERO! The BBL was a breeze but when she began the halo the pain was so intense and I was only provided self administered laughing gas. I could barely stay in the chair and was using so much laughing gas felt like I was hallucinating! It was truly more painful than anything I've ever been through. And I'm no stranger to lasers and cosmic procedures. I was so shocked and out of it, I sat in my car for a half hour before I felt okay to drive home. I had no swelling, was a little pink, but basically no results. None of the sandpaper skin, coffee grounds, nothing. When I went back for my follow up and we did the skin scan again to see the reduction in future sun spots we were both like, wow, not really a difference. She was basically like, everyone gets different results. I'm not one to complain so I left, just feeling defeated and disappointed that I'd spent so much money for a lot of pain and no results. I've told many, many women my experience. But felt I should share here as well.

I've been seeing Dr. Franklin for several years now. She's always been attentive to any concern…read moreI've had and she takes the time to properly evaluate my skin. She also explain things, instead of rushing off to the next patient. I'm thankful to have her as my dermatologist.

I was looking for a dermatologist for our family. A lot of people recommended Dr. Franklin. I see a…read moredisturbing trend lately. Everyone trying to push you off on a PA. I am not interested, and it should be a personal choice. I chose to try this office when apparently they were making some personnel changes. I had to wait 3 months, and I did specify the Dr., not the PA. When they called to confirm mine, they said it was with the PA. I told him no, I made the appt. with the Dr. He said no, and he also said there was not difference between a Dr. and a PA. So I said well, we are going to have to agree to disagree, and I wanted to reschedule. So he said he had an appt. 3 months later. I cancelled and called to tell the office mgr. exactly what I thought about this. They apologized and offered to call me when there was a cancellation. That was very nice, and I did get an appt. within a couple of weeks. So about those personnel changes. They have a nurse there, oh nooo. She rubbed me wrong right off the bat. Condescending, rude. I hate to judge after one meeting, so I will tell you that was confirmed after my second visit with my son. What's funny is my son looked at me after she walked out and said, oh I do not like her. So he was stuck seeing the PA, and she was nice enough, but I DO NOT WANT TO SEE THE PA. So first visit, she put him on a med, kind of expensive. No samples. I hate that. You have a teen trying an expensive acne med, and no samples. So he tried it, and it was not good. We went back, and she wanted to give him FInacea. I thought that sounded familiar. The PA also said she uses it. The horrible nurse said it's expensive, so I asked for a sample. She said no samples. Hmmm, the PA uses this expensive med, and you have no samples. So I look it up, and it's a Rosacea med. It's not marketed for acne in young teens. I did not want to spend $200+ for that, to try. I called and said can I wait for samples, she said they do not expect to get any. Whatever. I am done with them. I'm going someplace else.
