If I could give Jordyn and her team like 800/5 stars I would. I was on the fence about hiring a coordinator, but planning a wedding in Chicago from Denver is no joke, and I decided a little help wouldn't hurt. What I got instead was A LOT of help. Jordyn was professional, kind, incredibly detail oriented, put out every single fire that came her way (usually without me even noticing), and absolute pleasure to work with. I was already feeling so happy with our decision but there were two things that really took me over the edge. In general, I was a pretty relaxed bride and had virtually no special requests except: I wanted to walk down the aisle to a very specific moment in a very specific song. Jordyn heard the song twice at our rehearsal and somehow did magic math to figure out how to space the bridesmaids so I would walk out at the perfect moment -- and it was perfect. Second: I was famished after our ceremony and hadn't told anyone, but like clockwork, the second our last picture was taken, Jordyn arrived with an entire TRAY of apps for my husband and me. Right after our first dance, she arrived with a cocktails without being asked. Not only is this lovely lady wonderful and hardworking, she's also the cutest and the funniest, and it made me feel like I had a trusted friend working the operations department on our wedding day. I hired Andie for Day Of and that was a mistake, I should have used her from day 1. I have a hard time turning things over and didn't know how I would do a month before when I handed over all of my venders contracts to her. I did just fine. I am posting this on behalf of my best friend, whose wedding I was Maid of Honor in. She tried to write a review but it was hidden since she is not a big yelper. All I have to say is that she was kind in her review, the wedding planner was no help, there was no attention or care during the whole process: "Wrap it up was recommended to me for our full wedding planning. We ended up selecting the partial planning for the rehearsal dinner and day of for our wedding in September. I have waited two months to write this review in order to reflect on the experience and not write anything too over the top. The first issue we ran into is that our original planner left the company and we were not informed. One of our other vendors informed us that she was no longer with the organization. I completely understand that employee's leave, but we should have been informed right away and ensured that there would be a transition that would be handled properly. Instead, we had to call them and learned she had left weeks before. We decided to move forward with the understanding that the transition would be smooth with a new coordinator. The first time that we meet with our new coordinator, we had to re-walk through everything that we had selected. Not a big deal, except for the fact that they did not have any of our documents so we had to resend and provide all of our information. This was a minor annoyance, but again we moved on. From there, we waited on our schedule for the rehearsal dinner and the day of. The first schedule I got was clearly a copy and paste from another bride's document which isn't a big deal, but 75% of it was wrong including my name and the date and much of the timing. I fully admit I am type A, but when the date is wrong and the timing is off (one example groom at the alter an hour before the ceremony, etc) and I am spending more time correcting it is very frustrating. A week before the wedding we still had to send her an email with over 20 edits (some where things had changed and some where people were still missing or timing/spelling was off). It was not an experience I would recommend and I ended up just providing my own timeline to most of the vendors and my bridal party. Day of was fine (with the exception of not keeping the groomsman on time...which I'm sure she couldn't completely control), but not worth the money. We may have been an outlier, or maybe we didn't go with the full planning and this is how it goes when you don't spend the top dollar, but I did not feel that I was taken care of in the least." read more

I had the distinct pleasure of working mostly with Ginny from Wrap It Up. Ginny is the kindest human I've ever met - seriously. She is sweet, calm, organized, enthusiastic, and she makes the entire experience feel so personal. She had everything covered. I had a 16 person bridal party not including my husband and I and Ginny didn't even flinch. She got everyone where they needed to be when they needed to be there. Each and every member of our massive party has made some type of positive comment about her in the last few days since our wedding... The overall experience working with this crew is positive from start to finish. Their studio is the cutest! It has beautiful photos from weddings they've done, it is bright and airy, and adorned with beautiful flowers and the coolest bar cart at all times! They worked as a team. They were somehow everywhere without ever being in the way. Emily managed to get our 1 year old flower girl to feel comfortable and walk all the way down the aisle! Even the little one's parents were shocked! Paige made sure everything we needed to have taken to our home at the end of the night was there safe. She took special care with breakables and packed everything in such an organized fashion. I could go on forever but you guys have the info you need. WIU is perfect. They made sure our day was perfect. They are everything! If you get as lucky as me and get to work with Ginny you can rest assured knowing that things you don't even know you need are already taken care of. We worked with Emma at Wrap It Up and were just delighted. We met with Emma and her colleagues, Mindi and Julianna, about 3 weeks before our wedding. We had our vendors signed and most of the details organized ahead of time and were really looking for someone to be our day-of coordinator. Emma and co did a fantastic job the day of. I looked into several Day of wedding planners, but it was pretty clear after getting a couple proposals that she was the most professional, knowledgeable, organized AND was going to be really fun to work with. It was important to me to work with someone that got me and my vision and that had great energy. She did not disappoint! She had great vendor recommendations, was honest when i really needed her to be, was calm and organized during planning and day of and overall exceeded my expectations.
