The programs that air at sunrise are all educational, factual, informative, and fun. You learn a lot from Outreach Radio, Infotraxx, Viewpoints, etc. Those programs are repeated late nights on certain days. The music selection should be nostalgic, not the soft-AC BS that is usually played. Can't complain too much. I love the Sunday night Ukrainian and South Asian programming. I also love the Greek programming on Friday night, Saturday night, and Sunday afternoon. Authentic Greek music, lots of sponsors, and the hosts are very nice. Italian programming weekday afternoons at 2 PM and Sunday as well at the same time. Variety of beautiful, Italian music, events, announcements, etc. Where else (other than low power 1330 and 1430) can you get a diverse lineup of shows? 1590 is sadly, mostly Hispanic and Assyrian. I hate the cookie-cutter, pornographic, salsa music played during the overnight hours each day. Waste of money and shutting down the original WCGO, near WCFJ's studios in Chicago Heights. WSBC at least cares about their programming and shows. Much of the programming is simulcast over WCFJ 1470 AM.

Keep in mind, I was not only brand new to Chicago, and also a comic book geek, but also a girl and not only that a lesbian! I fit in no where! But after discovering how Chicago welcomes the geeks with open arms and then finding these guys that were basically my perfect friends. it was an amazing time! Comic Book Queers is a comic book podcast for everyone, not just the gays! In fact, last polling show the straight audience is much higher than the homosexuals! So they're secure in their listening to something called 'queer' on their iPod on the train. This show is laugh out loud, people are going to look at you weird on the street funny. And they are so knowledgable about all lines of books! Hilarity ensues and they're a blast to hang out with. The amount of people that came down/up to see the Queers at Wizard World Chicago was amazing!! There's a gathering of Comic Book Queers brewing and I can't wait to see the out come!!! Check them out on iTunes and laugh your butt off to mindless banter!

I'm especially loving the music on their FAITH ON RECORD segment, which brings back musical memories from when I was but a babe, searching in my path toward Truth. As described on their website: Faith on Record is a weekly hour-long program that airs on Sunday nights at 8pm. Bill Davis takes this time to dig into Moody Radio's album archives to bring back some of the inspirational classics from the 70s, 80s and early 90s--songs and artists we don't hear as much anymore. We'll flash back to some of the great songs by the likes of Steve Green, Rich Mullins, Twila Paris, Glad, 2nd Chapter of Acts, Steve Camp and Sandy Patti ... even back to the days of Dallas Holm, Evie and the Imperials. In addition to the classic songs, we'll have special interview features that showcase these legendary artistshttp://www.moodyradio.org/faithonrecord/

If they're still butchering their movies with bad cuts, I haven't noticed. My only problem is their signal; my antenna has to be in a very precise position to get any reception at all, and sometimes even that doesn't work. Everyone except me streams or has cable, I suppose, so this review may not matter to many folks, but since I reviewed this broadcast slot once before, and it's now changed, I figured I should update it.

It has changed so much over the years and seems to have become pompous in its approach. Terry Boers seems to think the fans owe him, not the other way around. I really like Dan Bernstein and he would be much better off with someone else or on his own. I loved Mike North back in the day, then strongly disliked him for a long time. It seems he has toned his act down since going to mornings. Anne Maxfield and Fred Huebner have kept him in check. He still seems to think he is the man about town and I wish he was a bit more knowledgeable about sports than he portrays himself as. Its amazing that they got the White Sox in a coup from ESPN. They also have the Black Hawks (are they actually still around) and DePaul. Jessie Rogers is brutal as the Hawks pre and post game and when he hosts. I think the score has potential to become a great station again, but they really need to rethink their direction.
