I've also come to Cain Center in the past for the Yoga Fusion class (led by Lee Middlebrooks), & the shallow water aerobics (led by Tamara & Keith Bennett). I usually liked to stay in the pool after the organized aerobics class so that I can swim some laps. I kinda wish there were more classes available at various other times throughout the day, & not just in the morning.

There were temporarily located in Richardson, but have since moved to their permanent location in Carrollton. The facility is huge and it's nice to finally have a volleyball home with the team name. Club Volleyball isn't like recreational volleyball in the sense that there is more of an urgency to win; that being said, it's great preparation for the real world of sports, be it middle school, High School or College level. There are a lot of clubs out there, we choose Excel because we feel the coaches take the responsibility of training our children personally.

On the other side of the building, my sorority sisters are doing arts and crafts with the other students that decided not to play basketball. The staff was very friendly and allowed us the chance to interact with the children and mentor to them. I also appreciate that the radio they play here has family friendly music unlike some gyms I've visited. This area also connects to a jogging/ biking trail going to Oak Point/ Bob Woodruff. This park is a hidden gem for playing tennis. It has a basketball court and two tennis courts. I…read morehave been coming here before COVID and now and the city actually takes care of this park. There are a few benches were you can come have a meal or just chill. It is also right in front of a school so safety is always a priority. I like the park because they have recently remodeled everything including the tennis courts. Only downfall is there are no trees for coverage on the courts so when it is really hot you need to bring a lot of water. For the most part the park is always quiet. Only con is if you come play tennis with a family you could run into high school teens smoking pot in the back bench. They literally don't care if you see them nor do they try to hide it. I have no problem with it. However if you are against it or with younger kids/family that would be the only con I have for the park.
