Had a storm go through 12 days ago still no service from WOW. Called three times to China. What do they know about Potterville Michigan? The first time I called they said they would come to my home, even though I told him all the wires for down on the streets not just to my home. Then when I tried calling back several times I got a tape recording saying would you like to cancel your appointment or keep your appointment wouldn't let me go any further than that so I had to use my husbands phone to contact China again. Said they would come out in three days. Still waiting not here yet. Told them they need a truck with a lift on it. All the wires are down. They left us high and dry. I'm going to cancel, and I'm not going to pay them a penny. read more

Horrible company. When a storm took out the town's internet Wow left us high and dry. Every neighbor had it but us. We got nothing from them but platitudes and guarantees on how great their service is. . They refused to fix the problem, telling us it would be TWO WEEKS before it would be fixed. This has to be the worst internet service ever. I work from home and lose connection EVERY SINGLE DAY! You would think with your poor ratings you would want to do something about it. To make a long story short we just figured out we were getting over charged for Internet access, we were only getting 60 Mbps , and I should've been getting 100Mbps. We we're paying almost $50 a month for it,and it should have been $35 I called the call center in the Philippines and asked them to speak with someone in the United States, and they pretty much refused. I think it's against the law to not do that. So after overpaying more than $120 for a the last year, the call center would not give me any kind of discount. All they could offer was sorry. But you can do auto pay, and save $5. REALLY. Rip us off and have the balls to give rotten customer service. I wouldn't give these idiots your banking information, I didn't. It's not worth $5 a month for the hassle. If you do be prepared to be over charged, and good luck getting your money back once they have it. Been their customer for over20 years. I called the service number for WOW this morning as we are missing many cable channels. Not all, but my favorites. The number I called, 800-496-9669, was answered and the name and employee number was blurted out so fast I didn't catch any of it. She would NOT let me talk to a tech until I gave her my credit card number! She told me that she is a contractor and does not have access to my account. All she did was try to upsell me a service contract. No help whatsoever. I even had to yell at her to stop. She would not stop. I hung up on her and found out local office number finally! I HATE WOW. We have no other choice. I HATE WOW. We hate it so much we switched our internet to our local utility who just put in fibre optic cable for it's customers. It NEVER goes down. EVER! read more

I've had problems with my internet for a few weeks. I've called 2 times and chatted with a live agent 3 times with tech support telling me to unplug modem or something else that didn't help. Was told i would be charged for someone to come out so I threatened to cancel, finally getting an appointment for tech to come to my house between 8am-11am. At 11 I called and they said he'd be here by noon. At 1:45 they said within 30 minutes. Finally at 2:25 I canceled the appointment. Spent over 6 hours of my Sunday off waiting for nothing. Was told no credit or compensation for my internet problems or my time wasted waiting all day. Rescheduled someone to come Wed. I won't hold my breathe on them showing up that day either... what a joke! read more

If I could give less than 1 star, they deserve it. The customer service for this company is in the hands of people who are not English proficient. I called to have my service terminated on the 26th of January due to a move. I have dealt with this company for service for 9 years. I explained I was moving and the termination date. The agent disconnected my service immediately for phone, cable and internet. I called back on my cell, got another agent who was heavily accented, and she said she understood what happened. After 10 minutes, my service came back on. I has satisfied until 4 hours later I received a welcome letter as a new customer and a proposed bill of $185. I called again and another accented individual said he would fix it. The following day (today) I could not access my voice mail. After calling WOW again, I am still listed as a new customer. I can't make these people understand I want to disconnect on the 26th. Now it looks like another call is in order. In all, I have spent over two hours on 7 calls and still screwed. If I could give a lower rating, I would!!! Nine months and they can't fix an issue unless changing my equipment and charging me more (originally told no increase). Never received the credits that were promised. In the last 51 days, I have spent over 7 total hours in the phone with their "so called" customer service (what a joke). I even filed a complaint with the FCC. Someone from WOW's executive response team called me but never answered my return calls. read more

the internet has been awful with disconnects and drops since last fall sept oct and keeps getting worse now I can hardly get threw a whole u tube without having to reset my device and my rented wow owned cable modem - it is very discouraging and is only one computer laptop (I take it to other places without a issue so I know that it isn't the computer and it is the connection here) and one tablet on the whole system for internet - cable tv is good though very few interruptions or broke up picture this past yr so they got that part fixed and the phone is dependable again (I have bundle pack of phone internet and cable and have for yrs, bundle I pay round $190.oo a month is a lot for not working well and dependable) read more

It is so annoying to call WOW and speak with someone from Central America. It's difficult to explain the situation with them, and it's difficult to understand them. I would really like a local number to call. But WOW sends the call center overseas so they pay way less to employees. Disappointed. read more

We switched to one of their modems 2 months ago and our WiFi was amazing till someone driving by my house ripped out our internet line. They sent someone out to fix it charged us $50 and our internet still didn't work. I call them the same day and they refused to send someone back out that day. I ended up calling back to get someone else and he "fixed" the problem but it started going in and out again 2 days later. I call them again and once again I have to wait 2 days for someone to come out and guess what the problem is still not fixed. But don't worry they charged me for the 2nd visit too. Another $50 to still have the same problem. But they think that because they credit my account with $45 that it's all going to be okay. Its been 10 days since the problem first started happening and they still haven't fixed it. Funny thing is its THEIR main line that's making my internet stop working. So glad I pay $50 every month to be charged for something I didn't cause. I wish I could get a different provider at this point. read more
