I would not recommend WOW Entertainment to anyone who is getting married. We emailed them back and forth trying to get confirmations and various information. All we received were emails saying they would let us know later, instead of just answering the questions in the email. They also claimed two weeks before the wedding that we were late on our deposit, which wasn't due until a week before the wedding. Additionally, they lost our confirmation papers a week before the wedding. Finally, we didn't hear from our DJ until 5 days before the wedding. Overall, it was far too stressful and tedious to deal with them and i would advise anyone else to avoid them at all costs. read more

If you want a very rude DJ- GO with DJ Xpozur from WOW entertainment! Very unkind and unfriendly. Had to be asked more than once if he would please announce the whole wedding party and not just the bride and groom and when he finally did- NO music was played during that time and yes he was paid to do this as it was at the beginning of the dance not before dinner had started and during the dance watch out, because if more than one person woudl ask to request the same song, not even knowing someone else had asked- He literally said whoever keeps asking me to play the song it doesn't matter who asks I don't have it so tell everyone to quit asking! Are you kidding me- what is wrong with a polite- nope sorry don't have it, I don't care if you are asked 100 times in one night-it's not like it was the same person each time, and regardless it's your damn JOB! It's no wonder they call themselves WOW entertainment- becuase we were all WOWED with such RUDE BEHAVIOR!! read more

We paid for the videography service, not only…read morethe day before when I had to reach out to make sure they were coming since we hadn't heard from them, did they then say oh yes but we have to send someone else other than who you were planning. They then never flew their drone for the footage we wanted and paid for. And didn't get any clips we requested for. Mind you we STILL haven't gotten our wedding video from 2021 and now they won't answer us. Wish we would've went with someone else, now we will never be able to have the video to look back on and out on all that money.

In talking with them they made us feel like we were their only customer and they were putting our wants and needs first. We were impressed by their customer service which was far superior compared to any other DJ that we spoke with. Leading up to the wedding Pete was in contact with us working out the details and assisting in planning. Pete was never domineering but rather he was a helpful voice of reason and experience. About one week prior to the wedding we met for coffee and finished our planning. Pete knew all the right questions to ask. Pete's professionalism, great attitude, helpfulness, and expertise were outstanding. In a stressful time in the wedding planning stage Pete assured us that he would be working behind the scenes emceeing the reception taking the stress away from us. Pete was very attentive to our concerns and needs. On the wedding day we arrived at the reception and Pete had everything ready for our entrance. His lighting and equipment were impressive! Pete kept everything moving smooth, it was clear that he had put a lot of work into coordinating with our hosts, family, and bridal party to ensure that all expectations were met. I have personally seen all of the WOW Entertainment DJs perform. They are some of the best in the business! Clean cut and professional. Always early for every event. And all of their music and announcing is family-friendly. Nothing short of astounding how different these gentlemen are when you put them in front of a crowd! In addition to taking the work off my shoulders by making perfect design decisions, Lucy was a god-send on event day. They stood out among the crowd as a local, customer-oriented business that was willing to customize our dinner menu from the ground up. (This included vegetarian, gluten-free, and lactose-free options.) We were very satisfied with our decision! Everyone we spoke with at the wedding positively RAVED about the food. I know we made things difficult with our unusual requests (spaetzle, German potato salad, and pretzel rolls...) but Bob pulled it all off magnificently. I also know for a fact that our families are both enjoying all the extra leftovers. The dinner service itself went off without a hitch, and the set-up and reception were right on schedule. Laurie coordinated with us throughout the entire process, setting up multiple tasting sessions for our families (we live out of town), and hashing out all the details of our menu. She and her staff were both prompt and courteous, and were a real pleasure to do business with. Their pricing was super-reasonable for the quality and amount of food we were getting. The place settings and goblets were quite elegant, too. I will be sure to put in a good word with the Old Courthouse Museum to recommend you for future weddings in the Sioux Falls area. Perhaps we'll drop by for lunch again in the future, too. :) Thanks again!
