Meet the Business Owner: Janet U.

I have always enjoyed flowers and finally made a decision to attended a Hennepin Technical School in Minneapolis, MN for florist training. Included in the course was a internship of 40 hours which taught you how to setup and run a business plus making all arrangements from day to day to weddings, funerals and events. You also learn how to approach your customers and to listen to their needs as to what they are looking for. So I decided after graduation to setup my own floral shop in my home. I had everything needed to do business. I also worked a full time job and had my shop open on weekends only. I did quite the business and had my regular customers and soon word traveled about my shop. Well we decided to move to Sioux Falls this year (2023) and so I again have setup my shop in my home. I enjoy being creative and putting arrangements together. I am very unique in that I don't like to be like everyone else so my designs are different from most everyone else.
