It's been many years since I've rented, and this is where I would be at least once a week if I ever had to revert back to the "good old days". Estherville is where I grew up, and as part of my annual trip back to the Iowa Great Lakes, I stopped in to take care of some business. The Lavanderia Laundromat is located Downtown, although you kind of have to look for it. Once inside, I found the facilities to be modern, clean, well maintained, and safe. There are places to sit and even an available TV to pass the time while the clothes spin wet or dry. Then of course, there are the interesting people you meet along the way.

Most of the machines looked like they've been here since the 80s and some of the machines actually had trash in them. While my laundry was going, I used their self-serve car wash right next door...the knob on the machine was broken so I couldn't tell if I was washing or rinsing or what.
