The store itself is huge! You can definitely spend a lot of time here. It's also a great spot to get you out of the heat. I was actually looking for something specific and I asked a cast member and they told me exactly where to find the item I was looking for. Great customer service! The store can get crowded at times, but the line moves quickly.

The front of the store where we entered had some toys and stuff, and as you got further back you'd find authentic Japanese items. I bought a fan here; they have chopsticks; little Japanese tchotchkes. You can even buy a kimono here! This store is really quite large, bigger than most of the stores I visited in the Disney World parks. Toward the back is a ton of candy and Japanese sweets. I bought lots of fun treats to share with friends and family, including the sakura KitKat that's hard to find outside Japan, I think. The staff were very friendly. They wrote my daughter's name on something we bought--perhaps the fan--in Hiragana. There's also a Kidcot stop right outside this shop (near the candy section), so you may want to check to see if that's still the case to give the kiddos something fun to do.

But, I love the adorable Disney theme festive gear even on a hot summer day. In the past, I would give this place five stars. But on this visit, I was a bit disappointed. They used to have more variety. They would have on themed clothing, accessories, and more decorations than ornaments. They also used to have more decorations for other holidays, especially Halloween. I bought Haunted Mansion merch the time before this, a and squinted Jack Skellinton shirt before that, plus other things. They also used to have cute items to decorate your car, like the tiny mickey ears. Another complaint from this trip is that some families let their kids who were upper elementary school age, so not babies or toddlers, play ball around the ornaments, and throw items around, I know this sounds petty on my behalf, but really? Does not sound appropriate in a room full of glass. I will be back, but I do hope they return to selling a larger variety of merch.

The outside of the building caught my eye!…read more It is so flashy. This building stands out in town lol I knew right when I saw it, that I wanted to check it out. The bright colors and paint all over the building spoke to me. Inside, it is pretty similar to other gift shops int he area. My hotel was on the same street as this gift shop. There are a total of 4 gifts shops (to my knowledge) in the same area. I hit all 4 just to check them out and compare. Also, I needed umbrellas, socks, and other miscellaneous things during my trip. I came in here looking for an umbrella and ended up looking at other random things. I think every gift shop I went into had crocodile heads and teeth lol This is odd to me but normal for Florida I guess lol

Very bright and big sign outside…read more A lot of tourist gifts here, but nothing really that stood out as a deal other than some of the t-shirts (did not find the ones for $6 like on the giant sign outside). Yes, the pens I saw at the Publix were a dollar cheaper here, so if you want to get a few points of memorabilia from the trip, this isn't a bad place to do it. Toys, luggage, shot glasses and more... not all of it Disney or Universal related, there was a fair amount of just random Florida and Orlando merchandise, too. They didn't have the bead/charm items we were looking for, so we moved on, but others may find interest here (and cheaper than some of the parks though not necessarily any indication of quality or style).

(July 27, 2026)…read more Omg!!!! It's like a resort filled with every type of restaurant, shops and more... This place is huge...Imagine Universal City Walk & Downtown Disney merging...that's Disney Springs! Parking is free but make sure to take note of which lot you parked in because it's easy to get lost. Thank goodness there are a lot of security guards and people around to guide you in the right direction. I met my cousins here for dinner and it took me about 15 mins from where I parked to find the restaurant where we were meeting:) Worth coming here - I loved this place! So much to take in and see! ~ and that's all I have to say about that...

Disney Springs | Orlando, Florida…read more A Little Disney Magic, a Lot of Walking, and Plenty of Ways to Spend Your Money! Disney Springs is quite the destination! Between the restaurants, shopping, entertainment, and Cirque du Soleil, there's certainly no shortage of things to see, do, eat, and experience. It's an impressive entertainment complex, but be prepared. This is Disney, after all, and they've mastered the art of separating visitors from their money! First, the good news: admission is free! You can wander, window-shop, enjoy the atmosphere, and take in the sights without purchasing a ticket. However, you'll still need to go through security screening, including bag checks and metal detectors. Now, let's talk about parking. Bananas! The parking facilities are extensive, but getting in, finding a space, navigating the crowds, and eventually finding your way back to your car can be an adventure all by itself. My biggest recommendation? Have a game plan before you arrive. Disney Springs is enormous, and there's a tremendous amount of walking involved. Know which restaurants, shops, and attractions you want to visit, and plan your route accordingly. Otherwise, you may find yourself doubling back, retracing your steps, and wondering how you managed to walk several miles without accomplishing half of what you intended. The restaurant selection is particularly impressive, ranging from casual dining to some genuinely outstanding culinary experiences. As a serious foodie, that's what interests me most. There's no shortage of opportunities to enjoy a memorable meal, and I certainly did during this visit! Shopping is plentiful, too, with an appealing mix of stores and specialty retailers. But let's be realistic: Disney Springs is a tourist destination, and the temptation to spend is everywhere. It's easy to get caught up in the excitement, so keep an eye on your budget. And then there are the crowds. Oh, the crowds! I visited in October, which you might think would be a quieter time of year. Not necessarily! Even outside the traditional summer vacation season, Disney Springs can be incredibly busy. For someone who appreciates a little breathing room and a more relaxed experience, that can take some of the enjoyment out of an otherwise lovely evening. One of my favorite sights was the beautifully illuminated Aerophile balloon floating above the palm trees against the night sky. It's a wonderful reminder that Disney really does know how to create a little magic. Would I return? Yes, but selectively. I'd come back for a particular restaurant, a special event, or an evening out with friends. It's not somewhere I'd choose to spend an entire day wandering through crowds, but for a planned visit with a specific destination in mind, it can be a lot of fun. Disney Springs offers something for almost everyone, and I can appreciate the creativity, entertainment, and variety even if the overall tourist experience isn't entirely my cup of tea. My advice: Wear comfortable shoes, plan ahead, allow extra time for parking and security, make dining reservations when possible, and bring a little patience. You'll enjoy yourself much more! Life is too short not to eat well, sleep well, or travel well. Get out there, explore the world, discover something wonderful, and start living!
