Accessed by a road lined with huge conifers, the World Peace Cafe is set in the impressive Ashe Hall and its beautiful grounds, which is a very peaceful place to go for a stroll. The cafe itself is set in a large room, bathed in light and with a magnificent high ceiling. Menu wise, mostly homemade paninis, wholesome soups and quiches to name but a few, on the constantly changing menu. Their homemade vegetable lasagne is my personal favourite, full of flavour and complimented with a fresh salad. A good range of drinks too, all the classics tea, cappuccino, latte etc. The whole place is restful and unhurried, with friendly staff and a variety of seating. read more
