I had a terrible experience at this nail salon today. I specifically asked for a nude base for my French tips, but the nail technician kept insisting that I wanted pink. Even after I explained multiple times what I wanted, he continued to argue with me instead of listening to the customer. When he started doing the French tips, they were visibly crooked. I pointed this out, but again, he insisted that I was wrong and that they looked fine. The shape of the nails was also awful. I asked for square nails, but they ended up looking uneven and shaped more like teeth than square nails. To make matters worse, when I expressed my dissatisfaction, they refused to refund my money. Instead of trying to fix the situation, they told me they didn't want me to come back. After the experience I had today, I wouldn't want to return anyway. Overall, the customer service was extremely unprofessional, the quality of the work was poor, and they took no responsibility for their mistakes. This is a busy nail salon, and they are very accommodating to customers, so even if you have an appointment you may have a wait and that is the sign of a great business. I have been coming to this nail salon for years, BECAUSE they are so good. I plan my morning or afternoon around the visit, and therefore I have time to decompress and focus on ME. Sooo... I came here with a friend to get our eye brows done, just a normal wax to shape them nothing major. The wait was the first thing that caught me off guard... but after she took us into the room to do everything it was a small room with boxes and boxes of stuff.. then their was a very unprofessional set up.. one computer desk like chair and a very tiny table with unsanitary equipment.. it just looked odd i was very hesitant but i said whatever and gave them the benefit of the doubt. she was very rough while waxing.. after she waxed my eyebrows they were sore all day and almost unbearable.. i tried to wait it off but it got the the point where i just got used to it threw out the day however i woke up this morning to something weird.. where she waxed is very broken out in like tiny white dots where she waxed and i don't know what to do.. and my eyebrows alone... in general just don't go here for a waxing... Well I have been here once, going back again today! But the first time was amazing! I wanted these blue nails with butterflies on my ring fingers! And man did she slay it! When going thru reviews trust me when I say this place was horrible. I'm a bit of a nail snob.... I get pink and whites done. I normally get my nails done in midland at Happy Nails but my usual nail tech was on vacation. I only needed a pink fill (yes I knew the pinks were not going to be exact). The gentlemen that did them was very polite but when he drilled my nails he did it so hard it made my nails burn. I had a few nails that had slight lifting.... and I mean very little. He for some reason decided he would forcefully bend my nail down to lift the acrylic to cut it off with clippers. It felt as if he was ripping my nail bed. After he was done my nails hurt and the two he pulled on were red and sore under the acrylic fill. I understand in my photo that there are distinct lines from the two different color pinks but they should not have been pulled down like they were. Please be mindful if you go here. I will not be going back and I'll stick to my Happy Nails nail tech. read more

I am not one to leave bad reviews for any business but I am so frustrated and really disappointed with my visit and the service here. Me, my sister, and my boyfriend all came here to get pedicures. I've heard good things and decided to go. We got there and the lady at the front was not very clear about where we were supposed to go and just seemed like she didn't really care. We all eventually get in, and before we even sat down in the chair the male workers there refused to do my boyfriends pedicure and told him he had to wait for a female to do it. His feet get pedicures every 2 weeks, and it was just so embarrassing for him. This is supposed to be a enjoyable experience for everyone to sit together and have a good time, but it was far from that. But it doesn't stop there. I went to pay after they had finished me and my sister's pedicures while my boyfriend sat there the entire time we were getting ours, and before they got someone to do his pedicure, and they charged me $5 more for his than me and my sister. How does that work?? Also, they clean their tools in the water you soaked your feet in!! That is so disgusting! I don't recommend this place to any one, especially males that like to pamper themselves, to go here. They scam you out of money, discriminate, and it's a major health hazard! read more

I try not to give bad reviews, but this one can't be ignored. My friend went there recently and after a few days developed a fungus on all of her fingers. She has had to go to the doctor and is now taking medication. I'm not sure how long it'll take to clear up, but I know it will be a while. I don't know how long the nail bath water has to sit to develop enough bacteria to warrant a fungus, but it disgusts me that they would even re-use the water, or the basin without disinfecting even one time. DO NOT GO HERE. read more

The service was pleasant but very, very rushed. I spent $27, plus a $3 tip. For a 20 minute "pedicure." Ended up with a nice paint job on my toes, bur no foot care. It doesn't matter if my toes look good, if my feet look all ratchet. I won't go back. read more

I never write bad reviews but a girl has got to look after other girls when it comes to their nails. It was my first time going there, the staff was extremely friendly and it was a relatively cheap nail salon. But my nails are a wreck :( the shape isn't the same on both sides, one is further in than the other and it literally looks like a little kid learning how to stay inside the lines when coloring... I'm not the type to go back and complain and demand a refund so I didn't know what else to do other than to write a review :( I posted photos if anyone wants to look at them, my nails are the reddish maroon ones. read more

I agree with the one girl who said they are very nice in the beginning and do good then once they see you regularly they don't care as much and you will feel rushed out with a poor mani or pedi. I used to go here pretty frequently and then they got new people who have no clue how to give pedis and it became a waste of money because I was going home and doing what they didn't do. read more

I went to this nail salon regularly for all services simply because I didn't know any where else to go. I've recently branched out and tried other nail salons in the area and have now realized that although this nail salon wasn't horrible, and the end results were nice. Their customer service is seriously lacking. They can be rude and none talkative and they rush through everything and you're stuck with painful manicures and pedicures because they don't have the time to do it gently. I went here with some friends and needed to get our nails done for a wedding. Although my friend made an appointment with their sister salon, Crystal Nails which is also in the mall, when we showed up they had no idea what we were talking about and no one to help us. So they called over to World Nails and sent us there. They were packed and told us to pick out our color and they would be with us in 5-10 mins. Well, about 35-45 minutes later, after us asking about 10 times when we were going to be helped, I finally got to sit down at a station and then waited for another 10 minutes for someone to help me. She did an ok job but barely talked to me and of course tried to up sell me. When she was doing my cuticles she used an electric tool and cut one of them and made it bleed but didn't tell me (I realized after I left why my thumb still hurt). Needless to say, the location is convenient, but I do not recommend this nail salon. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere. read more
