There was a member who cut in line to put her name on an aquafit class signup sheet that already had ten members signing up for which was all that was allowed. He basically allowed this and cut me from the class while I was in the pool waiting for the class to start. He knew the lady was coming for the class as she had called to say she wanted to attend the class. To deescalate the problem Johnathan should have told the ten people waiting that someone would be bumped from the class instead he said I don't decide who gets into the class I just drop the sheet and all of you decide who gets into the class. So the lady arrives five minutes before the signup sheet gets dropped on the counter and she grabs the sheet that was intended for the tenth attendee to sign. Very childish behaviour from a Manager who should have told the member she was too late to sign up as there was already ten people in the class. Once again, Johnathan, you failed to be a responsible Manager and failed to treat all acquifit members respectfully. You really need to take a course on how to conduct yourself professionally and how to handle oncoming conflicts. Removing someone from a class does not solve the problem. And then saying that all early arrival aquafit attendees are taking up space and shouldn't arrive early just to get a spot in line for the class.

I also wish more members were respectful about re racking their weights and not ego lifting/slamming equipment which can break and inconvenience the ones who do care. Overall I love coming here, this is a great gym with very affordable prices and nice atmosphere especially in the mornings!

Unfortunately, the reason for my 1-star rating is due to an incident with another member. After attending 5 days a week for years, another member began targeting me with harassment. The member began approaching me while I am working out, unprovoked, and made demands such as asking me to turn off a fan "because it was making her cold". The last straw was when this member approached me while I was lifting weights, asking me to move. I ignored her as I was working out with my AirPods in my ears, and figured she'd get the hint. Instead, she took it upon herself to move my weights herself, and began working out within arms reach of me, meanwhile the entire gym was empty. I moved my weights back, then she pushed them onto the floor. The entire encounter was captured on the gym's video cameras. When I brought this to the owners attention, he did nothing, and instead allowed her to continue working out without addressing her inappropriate behaviour. This is a serious safety issue and borders on harassment. Anyway, if you go to this gym, don't be surprised if you are approached by a rude member, then when you complain to the owner, he will proceed to do absolutely nothing. Very disappointed in how this owner refuses to address serious conduct issues by members, so I'll be taking my workouts elsewhere.

I called it a playground for adults.

Sure, it's rough and equipment has seen better days, but the classes and instructors are good and I'm sure it's a proper fighters' gym if that's what you're looking for. But be warned, they auto renew memberships without paying any heed to Ontario's Consumer Protection Act, which requires a notice period, cooling off period etc. Money comes off your credit card and you have no way of getting it back. I'm out more than $1000 for a family membership that auto renewed despite us not using the gym for the last 8 months of our year's membership. We stopped going because they had moved from previous location (no complaints, they are entitled to do so) and classes no longer being convenient to get to for us based on where we live. I didn't ask for a refund on the year we paid for, I just sucked it up and moved on and we attended the gym and classes as often as we could but eventually stopped going around April of 2025. The membership was due to end in November or December. Then it auto renewed in November 2025 without me getting a reminder. I immediately emailed to ask for refund, and they have ignored me ever since. I have called about 8 times, emailed at least that many times. I checked their Google reviews and I'm not the only one this has happened to. Be warned. I'll see what I can do with the Ontario Consumer Protection Act but I suspect my $1000 is gone up in smoke. Don't let it happen to you.

The trainers are excellent, especially Holly. She focuses on form to avoid injuries. She always gives alternate ways to do an exercise so anybody can do an exercise. If you are a veteran exerciser or just starting out I highly recommend Before and After Fitness. And if you just want you do it on your own the gym has a full complement of equipment. Also they are open 24/7. Each member has their own code to get in the gym at any time.

When I arrived at the small studio gym, I was surprised by all of the classes they offer in this space including pound, boot camp and TRX classes. Everyone there, the instructors and the members were extremely kind and inviting. What made this pound class so exciting was not only the amazing set list of rock and pop songs, but the instructor. Holly really knows how to get the class into the songs on an early Saturday morning. She's having such a good time up there, singing the songs and pounding the sticks, at one point you feel like you are at a rock concert and start to sing along, dance and pound as loud as possible with her! I look forward to taking more classes at this gym. I highly recommend if you are looking for a drop in fitness class to relieve your stress to give this place a shot!

This time, my fiancé found Pro Muscle Lifting Club on Instagram and reached out, and from the very start, the owners (or account manager) were incredibly communicative and welcoming. The gym is in Buffalo, about a 15-20 minute drive from Lewiston, but it's absolutely worth it. The equipment is some of the best we've ever seen--seriously impressive--and they even have dumbbells that go up to 150 lbs. they also have cardio machines. We were there during Thanksgiving week and wanted to workout on Thanksgiving Day. To our surprise, they responded to our Instagram message promptly to let us know they'd be open! Meeting them in person only made us more impressed. We liked it so much we upgraded our day passes to a weekly pass, even though we were only going to be there three days. The gym itself is spacious, well-organized, clean, and free of clutter. They have a few machines and attachments we'd never seen before, which made for exciting and challenging workouts that left us both sore in the best way. There was no crowding at all--maybe 20-25 people when we were there--which made for a comfortable and focused workout environment. For bodybuilders, this gym is a dream--there's even a posing room! On top of that, the owners suggested a really tasty and healthy lunch option that we truly enjoyed. This gym has officially become our New York "gym home," and we can't wait to visit again. Highly recommend to anyone in the area looking for a top-notch workout experience!

The training areas are not too populated and if I recall accurately, membership is $30 a month. I got a guest past for 2 days or so and took advantage of it. No issues for this place as far as I can tell.
