I will admit, the staff here were nice, the building was clean and (unlike other recruiters) they didn't waste my time calling me to work for crap jobs on shifts I didn't apply for. Unfortunately, they also didn't bother to find me a job at all. After meeting with Greg, I had one of the worst interviews I have ever been on in my life. The demeaning, disrespectful & unprofessional woman I interviewed with cut me off before we even finished & went on a tangent saying " I reviewed your resume beforehand & already knew I wasn't going to hire you. I didn't even want to waste my time with you. I told Greg you didn't meet our qualifications for the position but he insisted that I interview you". And went on to tell me what a loser I am & how angry she was at Greg for wasting her time. I realize this isn't Greg's fault & even wrote him an email explaining my experience & asked for suggestions on how to prevent such a depressing situation from happening again. In fact, I even apologized to him because I've never been in a situation quite like this & although I thanked the interviewer anyways, wasn't sure I handled myself correctly. Greg, never once responded in any way shape or form. It has been over 3 months & still nothing! If this Alacriant employee was speaking the truth, why on earth would you send anyone on an interview if they didn't meet the qualifications in the first place?! Secondly, just because this interview didn't prove promising; why would you (as a recruiter) just not respond or try to help find employment elsewhere? At the least, he should've met with me to go over interview questions so I could be prepared for the next interaction. After all, that's a job recruiters position...don't waste you're time here, honestly.

As far as temp agencys go, there's not a whole lot of distinction between competitors. Although I…read morehave run into one of three frustrating problems with all the local agencies: 1)asking you to come in for an interview yet not interviewing you for the job you applied for. 2) claiming to place you at local employers yet only offering you positions that pay way too little for the hour plus drive you'd be making. 3) Making you jump through hours of pointless paperwork & training videos only to never place you...then having the nerve to call you over a year later. With Snider-Blake, I only had to deal with issue #1 & #2 (but two was my own fault). If you hate interviews, let's be honest they're a huge waist of time & know body enjoys the "experience"- this place doesn't actually conduct an interview. They'll discuss your job options and do their best to work with you (Morgan did an awesome job in finding an employer that would accommodate a medical issue I have). But be prepared as you'll be required to take a drug test on site & watch a training video. And as with all temp agencies, there's hidden fees. If you try out a job & it doesn't work out for you- you'll owe them $49.00! They state this is to cover the cost of a background check & drug testing but realistically this is not anywhere near the cost (In fact, you shouldn't be charged at all as you aren't expected to pay for these things if you are hired directly through a company & not an agency). Depending on which company you're placed with; they also provide you with attire (vest, gloves, hardhat) that you are financially responsible for returning in tip top shape- otherwise it's a $19.00 fee. Although they did find me immediate job placement (which I'm thankful for) I was unable to take them up on their offer which is my own mistake & not theirs. Again, they'll work with you & I stupidly agreed to work within a 20 mile radius so a 15 mile drive is equal to a little over an hours time due to two unavoidable school zones & constant heavy traffic in Twinsburg. I know from past employers that I'd never make it to the job site on time so this is something you should also consider. Again, Snider-Blake offers immediate placement which is more than I can say for places like Mancan, Employtemps, Ryan Staffing & Kelly's. Yet wherever you go, good luck!!! Finding a job is 10xs harder than people think so if you're down on your luck just remember at least you're trying.

If you already have a job but are in the process of looking for a new one, the smart thing to do is have a plan b before you leave your current employer. However, it was clear that Accurate Staffing doesn't feel that way as they seemed annoyed that I wanted to give my employer a proper two weeks notice. All staffing agencies want you to drop everything at the last possible minute and be available within a few hours notice...yes, the staff here was friendly but they definitely wasted my time. They knew I was employed when they called me and then never bothered to call me in for an interview with the company they were trying to place me with because I insisted on a 2 week notice. They also have some questionable requirements that I've never dealt with at other temp agencies. One issue is that you are required to pay for your own drug test($25.00) if you agree to take on an assignment. This should NEVER be a requirement of an employee! The company that wants to take you on should be the ones to pocket the expense. There was also an additional $25.00 fee if you agreed to an assignment but decided the job wasn't for you. Even if you only worked one day and decided it wasn't the right fit- you would have $25.00 deducted from your paycheck. Then after wasting over an hour doing paper work, they email you (without telling you to check it) a notice stating that within 24 hours, they want you to return to their location- for what?! I was just there! Again, this agency had some hidden fees that other places don't require you to pay so make sure you read the fine print!
