I was looking to sign up for the basic membership. I was told initially I could use my credit card for the membership. I came back today because the new membership terms were starting and I was informed that using my card was not the case unless I wanted the $20 a month membership....Huh? I have no desire to give anyone access to my checking account, but why do I have to pay an extra $10 for the privilege of using a credit card. I only wanted the $10 a month account, no bells and whistles, so I thought, why don't I just pay for the year. I did the math and figured the total cost should be $160. $10 a month for 12 months plus the $40 sign up fee. Easy right? But no... I was then quoted $219 for an paid 1 year membership... huh? It has now become $12.50 a month, $49 membership fee and $20 card fee. So let me get this straight, I'm paying up front, but you need my credit card and I have to pay $20 for the privilege of giving you my card which you shouldn't need because I'm paid in full....huh? Something tells me they are not concerned with my physical fitness, but rather their financial fitness. I'll be moving along...nothing to see here...

This gym has everything I could want! Here's why:…read more 1. It's clean. I work out on my lunch break and shower before going back to work. Not only do the machines appear new and clean, the bathrooms are always very clean, too. 2. It has all of the basic cardio equipment and weights. Granted, I'm not that in to classes. But there is personal training available, if you want it! 3. This might sound funny, but I HATE working out without fans and TVs - there's nothing worse than running while bored and hot, and I give up quickly. Luckily, all of the machines are equipped with fans and there are multiple flat screen TVs. 4. It's open 24/7! I don't live nearby so I don't go at weird hours, but believe me, I would if I could! 5. The people are friendly. I come here all the time so the staff must know my face at this point. 6. The price is perfect. I think I paid around $70 to sign up, and then $15 after that - how can you beat that?! I can't believe I worked out at crappy LA Fitness and paid $30/mo for so long - this place is awesome! Out of all of the Workout Anytime's, this is by far the worst. I'm a gym rat, and in the last 27yrs of going to the gym, this is the worst. First of all, as you walk in, look around. Notice that some machines are out of service. They will be like that for a long time. It will mess with your workout routine. Second of all, gym trainers will interrupt your workout to accomplish what they want. I.e. you just did some machine bicep curls. If you turn around and look back again, there might be someone else working out there. Third, what they call music is just loud noise. I guess the owners of this gym have poor taste. Finally, and what really upset me about this gym is that they are thieves. They operate on a finders-keepers-losers-keepers basis. In other words, if you leave something behind, it is theirs to take. That is what happened with me. That day, I live 20mins away. I'd left a piece of gym clothing. It was late, didn't feel like driving back. But as soon as I got home, I called the gym and left a VM. Next day, went back and asked if they found my clothing. No one new anything. They denied getting any message from me. For the rest of the week, I'd ask every time I came to the Stockbridge Workout Anytime. In summary, if given a chance, they will gladly steal from you.

Most importantly though social distancing/masks are enforced, the gym is super clean and the staff are awesome. I'm always greeted, they're communicative, helpful and I get a goodbye the majority of the time- unless they're busy and even then I'll see a head nod out of the corner of my eye.
