Then that's when my ex husband's games really started! My ex then said I was crazy and on drugs and had me do a 730 evaluation and even tho he failed the evaluation? The dirty doctor gave him 50/50 custody? Then my poor son was living a nightmare!! My ex didn't stop with his lies and false accusations and poor Rebecca stayed by my side through all of this it was a nightmare for both of us! Repeated false CPS reports that just turned around and bit my ex in the butt! Evidence for miles and go to court? You have one judge that listens to everything? And a judge who can careless? My ex tested dirty not once but twice with CPS and came back inconclusive every single time? And the judges did absolutely nothing? He broke in my house we filed a R/O once again? And the judge just threw it out! Oh believe me it was like going through hell I was stressed out ! I have been accused of everything bad under the sun!! It's also exhausting and scary! His family also barged in my house and attacked me? Rebecca fought very hard for me from start to finish over 3.5 yrs where she was completely over my case but she didn't give up.. At the end of the day I walked away from everything but got full sole legal custody of my son and moved 2200 miles away. To me that was the biggest win. I am finally free and so is my son I knew it was all about money and the house and Rebecca made it happen. The court system is terrible and I don't wish that on my worst enemy!! He was arrested, but days later he posted bail and was set free. We believed we had an airtight case: over 20 photos showing the injuries, a video of him admitting guilt, and statements from the children confirming the abuse. Just three days before our family court hearing, he maliciously filed a false CPS report claiming my sister abused the children. CPS showed up without a professional sign language interpreter, despite my sister's deafness, and I had to step in to interpret. The children clearly told CPS they felt unsafe with their father and confirmed the abuse. Even though CPS wrote this in their report, in court his attorney twisted the facts, claimed I manipulated the conversation, and had the report thrown out on a technicality. Within five minutes, the judge shockingly awarded full custody to the abuser, who still had pending felony charges. In the following weeks, CPS reopened the case and we watched helplessly as the children were interrogated under their father's influence. It was the most unjust and painful experience of our lives. That's when we hired Christopher Hernandez in Riverside, thinking legal representation would save us. Unfortunately, Christopher failed us at every turn.
