The did an initial phone intake and they gave as an appointment. We missed our appointment but called them back and made another one to do the real intake by phone. They didn't call us at the scheduled time but called us at a completely different time. Then we called them back and got to talk to them but the phone died and called them right back and they said they'd call us back but didn't. Pretty much it was like chasing them down by phone and when I told them we didn't want to deal with the same problem we were dealing with, with the workers comp company, they said they'd leave a message for the office manager and we never heard back from them. My mother had sustained cumulative trauma from a factory she had been working for 20 years. I remember it was around Christmas time because he made sure to get my sister to sign paper work committing her to him getting paid prior to taking off to India for weeks. Upon his return and similar to what others have commented, little by little his ugly side began to come out. What kind of BS is that if each and every time she reached out to her worker's comp insurance they would tell her "I can't talk to you, you have an attorney". This was ongoing for months and for all of you that are in pain from being injured at work and you take the time to hire an attorney to fight for your rights but instead you are told by the attorney that is going to get paid for his services, that you need to handle the doctor side of the case on your own, is mind boggling. How the hell, if worker's comp insurance will only speak to hired attorney... Back to blow up day, we had attended court and I still wasn't talking to Patel.
