He told us that certain items outside were for sale and if we saw something we liked to just ask. There are so many wacky things to see here and also nostalgic items. The owner also said he makes some of the items that you see, which was great to hear. There is a lot of passion and work that goes into this place and you will be surprised by what you come across. There are also some old cars that he has collected, which were cool to see! The gas museum was amazing. Lots of bright colors and the collection still lit up! This small winery packs a punch. Joseph Martinez is the owner & winemaker in this (mostly) on…read moreperson operation. For most of his reds, he is unique in fermenting the wine in used bourbon barrels. Wines we tried from these barrels were smoother, rounder, and with a bit more honey than similar wines from oak wine barrels. He also makes some nice whites and traditional reds. Joseph gave a very nice tour of his property and vines, and a very generous tour of his wines in his tasting room. We walked out with 7 bottles and a membership to his wine club.
