We aren't familiar with the store layout and were talking amongst ourselves as to where men's pajamas could be. An employee who was close enough to hear us made a bee-line away being sure not to make eye contact. Once we found the department, we are talking to each other about where the flannel sets may be located. A second employee followed the example of our previous encounter. We did find what we wanted. No prices are listed nearby or on the garments. Now to find a cashier. We walk around looking. None of the customer service desks are manned. We finally find an employee who is able, and willing, to check us out. That was an unpleasant interaction. Our pajamas were sixty dollars and I apparantly am an ignorant human according to the cashier for not agreeing with their opinions. Brilliant.

I was merely browsing and found a great skirt on sale, but my size was not in the store. The retail associate double checked every rack possible and for sure, it was not there. Usually, for a sale item, one does not always get that level of service but Doris was wonderful. And then, she surprised me by indicating I could order it with free shipping to my home. And, here is the absolute best, the price on line was less than it was in the store!!! Nothing could be more perfect than that!!!

It's a fairly large store and had everything I was looking for. I shopped my spring wardrobe from here and am really enjoying my new purchases. The staff is knowledgeable and honest! Usually shoe shopping is very boring and irritating to me, they all look the same to me when it comes to heels and boots. But Joey kept us very entertained and focused on the heels. At the end of the visit; he answered every question, gave suggestions and help locate every pair and size for her. With racks of summer apparel on sale, my mom was elbows-deep into linens and knits, squealing with glee over the incredible prices for beautiful clothes. When the sizes she took in with her turned out to be way too big, the woman assisting her jumped right in and helped her with everything. The clothes are nice -- relaxed, casual separates and dresses with a toned-down color palate and tasteful hems. They have a few accessories like scarves and necklaces, and everything is of a quality you'd expect from a nicer chain store. The thing that impressed me the most was when a linen button down my mother absolutely loved wasn't in stock in her size, one of the women hopped on the computer and called several stores to locate it for her and have it directly shipped to her. I've seen this done at higher end department stores like Nordstrom and Saks, but never at a chain like this. Even though the top was a sale item and these women do not work on commission, this women went out of her way to make my mom happy, and for that I will forever be impressed with this J Jill.
