Their almond croissants are light and crispy with a filling that is like a butter almond paste. I had the chocolate eclair today and that was excellent! The box they put them in is beautiful and perfect for giving as a gift! Their "couques" with chocolate or raisins are great, too! Since finding them, I've been going daily to buy an after dinner treat. My only disappointments are that they are sometimes sold out of things early in the day (so best to place a request for it the day before) and that they're closed on Mondays!

The sweets are very tasty, their drinks also. The only thing is that, depending on the time you get there, you might not be able to order from the menu (which is a shame, because with all the delicious foods presented on them and the fact that the menus are always available on each table, one is generally tempted to try things out, but may end up having their wishes for an item disappointed). In any case, it's a nice, quiet place to have a drink and a snack with friends/family when out and about in downtown Waterloo. Just a side note, however: this place can get really crowded.

There were reserved signs on some tables when no one was in there. It didn't seem like it got busy either so not sure who those were reserved for. They don't have a ton of food options here but I will say they have the beat pies I ate in Maastricht. Even better than the bakeries we visited. Whoever made them has hands of gold. I had a good cappuccino and the savory waffle with pulled chicken and dressing. The waffle was kind of cold and the seasoning of the pulled chicken was not the best but overall it was still good and a nice experience. Something you would not be able to eat at every restaurant. I would like to emphasize that it is quite cheap for what you get. I also tried some of their cookies and they taste amazing. So can highly recommend coming here for tea and cookies!
