The Woolly Egg Ranch- eggs already look great and taste amazing :)

Today was our first time visiting the Woolly Egg Ranch for the first time to buy some fresh eggs. Judith was the nicest person and we felt really welcome and we loved her positive energy and easiness. We have tried the eggs as soon as we came back to San Francisco. What can we say: they looked great (photo attached) and the taste was absolutely amazing - fresh, delicious, the yolk was so sweet ... Woolly Egg Ranch - you sure got yourself regular customers :)

We picked peaches from trees with the owners Judith and Ken.

Super rude owners who apparently don't realize that their hours are listed as open until 3 pm on Google and Yelp.

What a trip! Old school chicken & lamb farm. Judy sells eggs & honey on the weekend. Will be my go-to egg vendor from this point on.

If you have time to ride a bike over here like we did for the first time you can make a morning slash brunch out of it! Lots of sweet and savory dishes ready to eat when you arrive! And ingredients you can buy for cooking later. Local vendors have stalls in the back parking lot and surround the ferry building that house more permanent shops. These inside shops were curated by the likes of Alice Waters (chez panisse chef in Berkeley) and are nothing short of beautiful. Be warned there are inflated prices for most things. But you can still find a deal when looking for produce with the farmers.

The coffee, baked goods, fruit, and dessert selection is especially exceptional. The market itself is not dog friendly however, people still seem to bring their furry friends along. Honorable mentions: * Brown sugar latte from Painted Leopard (oatmilk) - incredibly creamy and sweet. Coffee taste was mild and well balanced. * Apricot kefir from Achadinha Cheese Company - Creamy, tangy, and pairs so well with fruit. * Thousand layer cake from NUSA - not a typically easy to find dessert. The layers are soft and delicious while not being too sweet. * Pain epi from Acme - the perfect vessel for cheeses and spreads. Light, crispy, and easy to pair with anything whether sweet or savory. This market is such a fun way to experience the local vendors in the area with your taste buds. Come early before 11/12 pm so its not too crowded.

I'm not sure why if the things weren't fresh if it was their ingredients it was horrible. I'm gonna have to go back and get the vendor's name so I could add it here. Went to the Thursday morning market. Wish I knew the name of vendor but I purchased a chocolate chip scone $5. Horrible. Was hard. I warmed up and had to spit out. It was bad. Texture and flavor. Something was wrong. They also had empanadas and cookies. I purchased a Kahlúa pork empanada for my mom and a Confetti cookie for my son. The cookie color really looks strange as well. You can't really see it when they're packaging it cause it's behind glass so I'm afraid to let my son eat it. All items were thrown away so I wasted $16.

When I got to the car, took one handful... absolutely stale, zero freshness, tasted like it had been sitting out for hours (or days). I went straight back to the booth and politely told the guy it was stale and asked if he could pop a fresh batch. He literally laughed in my face and said "no, it's the same batch, it's all the same." He told me to just grab another pre-bagged one from the table. Did that -- second bag was exactly the same: nasty and stale. My husband asked again for fresh popcorn. The worker still refused, saying it "costs too much money to use another plastic bag." Only after we said we'd reuse the bag did he finally agree to make a new one. Worst part: the first bag I had already opened and eaten from (while my family is currently sick with coughs and runny noses) was put right back on the table. Another customer bought that exact opened bag minutes later. That's a serious health issue. $12 for stale popcorn + rude, laughing worker + reselling an opened bag that strangers already put their hands in = never again. Completely ruined our morning at an otherwise great farmers market. Do yourself a favor and skip this booth.

It has a good variety of vendors for produce, meat, cheese, mushrooms, breads, body products, jewelry and more. There are a variety food vendors where you can get your fill of dim sum, burgers, Laos sausages, and a wonderful coffee vendor. I think you want to get there earlier than noon. The first time we went, it was about 1pm. We strolled up and down the aisle. By 1:30 there seemed to be little produce and a couple of vendors were starting to pick up. The second time we went a bit earlier. It is about a 20 minute bike ride from the Point so it is convenient. We walked around and saw the same vendors so I feel confident they will be there regularly. Great location with views of the marina and bay from the parking lot. There is a no pet sign but it was posted only at one entrance - and not the one we went through. It was warm and I couldn't leave her in the car. Because she was self-contained in her personal buggy, I didn't think it would be an issue. Still, probably best to leave your furbabies at home. The only negative I have is one vendor blasting music from their booth. I enjoy listening to music but it's so loud that I can't have a conversation with the vendor without yelling, so I move on. Quickly. When you get to the water end of the market, you are blessed with sounds of the bay and birds. Now, that's nice. The second time we rode our bikes from home. It's about a 20 minute bike ride from the Point so it is convenient and it was a beautiful morning. As we rolled up, we were greeted by loud music. Again. Sigh. There are a few tables set up at one end with coloring books and games, entertainment for both grownups and kids alike. You can also grab a bite to eat or something to drink, sit down and enjoy the vibes. Pleasant way to enjoy a sunny day by the bay in Richmond.

I wish I had my camera with me to take a picture of the boats. What is so great about The Richmond Farmers Market in Marina Bay is the space that is being used. The vendors at this market are very kind. You say hi to them and they start a conversation with you. It is a friendly Farmers Market to come to. I love seeing the people that attend the Farmers Markets. I have not seen anybody trying to bring their pets to the market which is not allowed. I do love how people come here on a Sunday Morning checking out the vendors. When I attended this market I only saw one vendor that had fruits/vegetables. Every other vendor were take out food or clothes. I am not disappointed that the market didn't have much produce vendor but it is still a market nobody if you call it a Farmers Market. Keep up the great work serving Richmond.
