A TRAVESTY. Our picey (by PL standards, 150 PLN for the "For Two" menu plus just bottled water) set…read moremenu was:
- not remotely "Chinese" (rather, mostly bland)
- net even tender by any other general cooking standards: tough & sinewy (old?) meat across 2 of the 4 dishes we were served
- possibly intended to kill the unsuspecting Asian lactose intolerant patron with an allergic reaction: as a starter, we were served some fake fried dumpling cakes stuffed with (Polish!) COTTAGE CHEESE..! (no, not an ambitious and bold culinary fusion attempt - just plain bland, like getting rid of leftovers or dispatching the Norwegian-dud-order of 1000% the volume of cottage cheese required, by/from the restaurant next door).
Bottom Line:
Communist "Polish People's Republic" meets the People's Republic of China (in name only, or maybe just a couple of quasi-Communist crooks from both sides doing some dirty deal or other in this square concrete den) around 40 years ago, with severe food shortages violently rocking the Polish People's Republic - and an oversupply of Polish cottage cheese).
