When I was working on Queen Street I always came here for fresh fruit salads, fruit, raw nuts and drinks. It is like a hybrid of a grocer, dairy and a fruit store. You can even buy beer and wine here. These guys also had Marmite in stock long after it had left the shelves of supermarkets so I kept it to myself and came here for my Marmite fix. Absolutely the best convenience store in the CBD without a doubt. They even have a shoe shine machine!

Rays Dairy even has a peak hour, 'the after school crowd', probably the same people that will become 'the after work drinks' crowd. Ice cream seem to do it for them now though. Star Convenience is one of these things - from the outside, a bland run of the mill chain convenience store. But they have a difference. You can get 5 naan breads for 1.90 here. You can use these for anything- pizzas, herb bread, you rule the roost on this one. If you live in the area, head on up to Star Convenience for a cheap feed.

Well apart…read morefrom the fact that it's a pretty convenient convenience store, and the prices here are fairly good, but I specifically come here to purchase two items. One of these is Dr. Pepper and cherry Dr. Pepper. If you haven't tried either of these drinks then I strongly suggest that you take a look at your life and change everything about it. The second thing that they sell here are samosas (chicken, vege, and butter chicken); and really cheap samosas too. You'll find them in the pie warmer, and god damn they are good. Their goodness is bolstered by the fact that they are like $1 or something ridiculous. Samosas and Dr. Pepper; that's all anyone ever needs.
