Always friendly, always fun! This place has many childhood memories of myself and my brother going in to buy toy train models. The staff are always friendly, they have a great selection and they are always more then happy to assist with placing orders! read more

Model railways, from Hornby, Bachmann Branchline, Kato, Atlas, Inter-Mountain and many others. Diecast vehicles from Oxford Diecast,in fact anything to do with railway modelling including American N, English N, English OO and Australian HO a good range of scenery including card, plastic and resin buildings, adhesives, trees, grasses and foliage to make your own trees. Track is also available in flexible lengths and fixed radius together with the electrics to get you going. Also stocking digital controls by NCE and decoders from TCS. We also have a repair service for those sick locos you may have and a decoder install service. Also we do have second hand items, you never know what you might find. Slot cars are also here including cars, sets and accesories

History

Established in 1985.

We have been in business for 30 years and have been in the same front shop ever since. As shops behind us became empty we knocked a hole in the wall and now have three shops altogether, one behind the other. We have always been into trains and have gradually added other hobby lines to the shop including Scalextric and Diecast vehicles. Our two sons are both working in the shop and they are happy to pass on their knowledge and are always willing to help fix problems should you have any relating to the hobby. Call in and see us, you never know what you will find.

Each time that staff have helped me to choose the best item to suit my use, or if an item wasn't in they would get it for me from another store. Prices are very competitive - there's no point checking on eBay as pricing is similar but you at least have good support from staff at HobbyCo. The least we can do is support them. I have even bought some Gundams while in Hong Kong thinking they would be cheaper. I compared the prices Gundams in HobbyCo, and HobbyCo had them for the same price or less.
