I feel compelled to share my recent experience with the legal services provided by Holly Berry and Mr. Paul Freeman, and I believe it is crucial for others to be aware of the challenges I have faced. I sought legal counsel from Holly Berry and Mr. Paul Freeman with the firm belief that my concerns surrounding a divorce agreement would be addressed with professionalism and expertise. Unfortunately, my experience has been far from satisfactory, and I am left with significant reservations about the services rendered. Despite numerous attempts to seek clarification and resolution, I have been met with a lack of response from Holly Berry after expressing my concerns regarding the invoiced amount of $2,800. This substantial fee, which I find unjustified, stems from a payment arrangement for divorce proceedings that was never executed correctly, raising serious questions about the thoroughness of the legal work performed. I am attaching the invoice in my review which clearly shows that just talking to lawyers should not have cost me $2,800 and they have done no actual work and I had to change representation to move forward with my divorce. It was extremely difficult and financially costly. Furthermore, I have discovered that my divorce was filed incorrectly by Mr. Paul Freeman and Holly where they promised certain measures and were not delivered, introducing uncertainties about the ownership of marital property, and also requesting to reverse a divorce agreement--directly contradicting the very purpose for which I sought legal representation. I have attached email records highlighting this in my review. The absence of the promised reversal of the divorce agreement and the lack of documentation detailing the actions undertaken on my behalf are deeply troubling. In light of these concerns, I must emphasize that, aside from nominal charges for drafting a divorce document and initial review, I find it challenging to identify any justifiable reason for the significant fees incurred. I am left with no choice but to seek a refund of $2,000 at minimum, which is fair and justified, reflecting the apparent lack of substantial legal work. This refund will help me with my new representation, and I am attaching my email to Holly and Mr. Paul explaining this. I have patiently waited for a response from Holly Berry and Mr. Paul Freeman, who have unfortunately remained unresponsive for over a month. This lack of communication only adds to the frustration and uncertainty surrounding the handling of my case. I implore anyone considering legal services from Holly Berry and Mr. Paul Freeman to exercise caution and carefully evaluate their experiences. My hope is that by sharing my story, others may avoid similar challenges and be better informed when choosing legal representation. I will not delete this review as a) I didn't receive any refund which solidifies they are operating unethically and b) I want to warn and caution for seeking counsel with Mr. Paul Freeman and Holly for any divorce proceeding matters. I believe in the importance of transparency and accountability in the legal profession.
