My doggies get super exited in the mornings when they realize where I'll be bringing them! Even though I work from home, the stays give my doggies the exercise and socialization that I just can't do by myself. Then, at the end of the day, I can check on FB or Instagram to see if my doggies are the lucky ones to have their photos taken that day!

After many attempts with pet stores who often seemed bothered by the requests we learned about Unleashed. From the first email with Penny it was clear that we were in good hands. She was communicative, helpful and generous in her time to setup the first delivery so that we could get the food we needed. I can't say enough about the care and service. Unleashed is unmatched.

I have some training experience myself, but when I adopted a puppy recently with some significant…read morebehavior issues, I knew I needed help from someone with more knowledge, skills, and experience. I wanted someone with compassion, who uses positive reinforcement training and truly understand behavior. Several mutual friends and training colleagues urged me to contact Helen, and I'm so thankful I did. From the beginning she gave me an honest assessment of my puppy and offered me several ideas to try with him to help him work through some fear aggression. She didn't give me any false illusions that the work was going to be easy, but she was incredibly supportive. Helen confirmed things I was doing correctly and advised me on things I could be doing differently, and that is exactly what I was hoping for! Together we came up with a plan. She made it clear that I could follow up with her any time I needed to, and I intend to schedule more time with her in the future to reassess our situation. Most importantly, she was prompt at a time that I was in a crisis mode and made is so that I didn't feel ALONE. Thank you so much, Helen!

We took a reactive rover course. Definitely would NOT recommend if you have a reactive dog. The…read morefirst 2 weeks are virtual, which is great but the next 2 are in person. The in person classes are extremely stressful with maybe 10 full minutes of face to face time with a trainer. On top of that, there's about 12-15 reactive dogs in the same parking lot! It's almost impossible to hear direction and because there's so many dogs barking and the training can't really be adjusted to your dogs needs. We didn't have any issues with the trainers or advice given, just with the value of the class. We paid a lot of money to put ourselves and our dog in a VERY stressful environment. The cherry on top, is that at the end of the last in person session the trainer said "Now it's not good to have your reactive dog around other reactive dogs, so try to get them around calm dogs." WHAT? Then why would you have a class full of reactive dogs? This course was not worth our money. I would recommend one on one training for any reactive issues.

We had spent so much time together during that time I guess she became hyper vigilant with me. She would become aggressive with any dog that came within in 10 feet of me. Barking and pulling and standing very tall. It never happened when others walked her without me. I tried for two years to change her behavior, including two different trainers, with no real changes. 10 weeks ago Maisie and I went back to Kelly (she had trained Maisie before Covid and she had moved her facility to further away). Within 5 minutes she had it figured out and we started a very simple, but effective program. Within 2 weeks there was a major difference. Maisie was more relaxed, calmer and much less territorial. She travels back and forth to CA from NH every year and I need her to be calm in the airport and not look at other dogs. 6 weeks after we started with Kelly we had to fly back to CA. Maisie was amazing. She was perfect. At 10 weeks out, she saw a dog long before I did. She sat and looked right at me without any instruction from me. THANK YOU KELLY!!!!!!! Can't wait to get back to NH this spring and tune up her service dog training and do some agility! Thank you again!!

Alaskan Malamute. We knew immediately that Liindsey would be a great fit. She's confident and knowledgeable about breeds that require special care and attention. By the end of her introductory visit, or dog was practically sitting in her lap (and I think he's bigger than she is)! They offer a very convenient online payment option, have flexible scheduling, and have options for longer walks than any other dog walker that I've seen in the area. We quickly came to rely on Pooch Pals, and were grateful for a few last minute visits when we couldn't be home as early as expected. They leave a nice report card at the end of every walk and are happy to help with extras like freshening water or feeding. I've worked with a lot of pet care professionals and Pooch Pals is at the top of my list!
