The park is good for kids but I have witnessed police search twice in the last year for the used drug needles, as they were called upon by the parents of the kids who were playing there. I would say under those circumstances little unsafe for kids. The round pathway to walk, jog or skate is just wonderful and well maintained.

This park is my favourite of several small parks that sit just behind Bloor in the village…read more Actually, the whole planning of these parks (I think there are four or five of them) are really cool, because they run parallel with Bloor so if you need a break from the hustle and bustle of the village, you can just pop into one of the parks but still walk in the direction you need to go. I like this park the best because it doesn't have a high nanny factor during the day, not that I don't like kids or nannies (I've been both) but it's just that when you want a moment of solitude, children are not always the best people to be around. In the summer people sprawl under the big oaks in this park like you wouldn't believe. Or maybe you would. Are you a sprawler?

A wonderful meadow for bird watching or bird song identification. The perimeter is surrounded by trees so it is a hideaway from the mississauga skyline. In June, the wildflowers smell amazing. There are no picnic areas, but there are benches along the path. The lawn around the dilapidated farmhouse provides a nice venue. The path is wide and well marked. Good for bikes and family hikes. Well done CVC and thank you for this lovely addition to the city's park system! There is a parking lot access on creditview, but they have added a new lot that turns off creditview just south of the 401. This is a long downhill deadend road, (watch your speed), that passes the historical Valley farm before reaching a parking lot.

Although their main attraction is trampolines, their new additions includes a two story level obstacle Ninja course which was a big hit with my daughter and her friends. There's token style video games, a small cafeteria serving some healthy and refreshments plus free wifi. The best part is that they have couches all along the sidelines for parents to watch their kids and those not jumping. They've also added larger slides which have two sections, one is more like a straight drop, and one with more of a curve. There's a side section of three slides more suitable for toddlers, all slides end in a ball pit. The staff were very helpful and always manning these slide, which is a relief for most parents. My go to for our daughters next birthday party.

Truly disgusted. This place is so busy I had to circle the lot until someone left, but they're going to be so tight-assed that they made my kid cry. I won't be coming back - if anyone wants my socks so they don't have to get shafted, they're welcome to them.

Between wide open fields for soccer, picnicking or playing fetch with your pup, and the wooded area for exploring, Sheridan Hill Park is a treat to come across. I'm going to let you in on a secret though, if you follow the path behind Sheridan Public School and to the south west, you'll come across not one, not two, but THREEE tennis courts. This is such a win because the courts closer to my house are always busy! The tennis courts here are located in the middle of a wooded area, and we've often laughed because while they are open to the public, it feels like we're at a resort (one can dream right now, yes). What would make these courts better is if they had some benches outside so people could sit and watch. Having the court lit at night would be awesome too, but I don't see that happening because it's in the middle of a subdivision area. If you are looking for a great set of courts, these may be the ones for you!

You will find an ice skating rink by Winter and a splash pad by Summer, in the commons and there are some eateries on the ground level the adjacent apartment buildings. Even though there is a rink, there is no skate rentals, so you have to bring your own skates to enjoy. The park opened in 2009 and spans over 3 and a half acres. It was designed to be fully accessible for people with disabilities. This a nice wide, paved pathway that runs along the side of the Commons from the street to the waterfront that is popular with dog walkers and jogger alike, that want to enjoy the scenic river. This spot is easily accessible by public transit (it has its own bus stop) and there is metered street parking and commercial lots within a reasonable walking distance. The commons has a huge patch of green space with benches and picnic tables. There is enough green space to have a picnic, layout, play catch, or hold a soccer game. Off to the side of the green space is a stage area, which has restrooms on the opposite side, facing the skating rink. This is a nice spot to just hang out and chill. It is well deserving of the accolades and awards it has received.

Some grass, a few benches, a really nice spot for a walk or bike ride along the water, but that was it. Clearly, this is an up-and-coming and gentrifying area with the modern office and condo buildings. I have no doubt that it's way better than whatever it used to be. But it's not much for activity right now. [Review 10984 overall, 756 of 2019.]
