We went here to buy our spring flowers for our new home. The selection was fantastic. There is a…read moregreat inventory of both annuals and perennials, as well as many vegetable garden varieties for the home gardner. There is also a wide variety of hanging flower baskets available for purchase. The greenhouse itself is a working greenhouse and while customers come to this location, one must understand that the business of growing and maintaining healthy plants will be happening all around you. The walking surface is crushed stone, so it is not like walking in a regular store. The majority of the spring flowers go fast right around Memorial Day and Kentucky Derby weekends. This greenhouse appears to deal primarily with Proven Winners merchandise. As such, you can be assured a robust and healthy plant specimen from good genetics. Pricing seemed a little high, especially for perennials. This may be Proven Winners MSRP and not necessarily controlled by the family business. This would be my go to for a greenhouse in the Harrodsburg area. They also have a small amusement park for school aged children, that is open during certain days and hours. I don't know much about it, but from the road, the rides look clean, newer and well maintained. We do not have children so it has not been part of our experience. Daynabrook has a number of "pop up" satellite locations to service your flower needs as well. This is a family run business and therefore, I prefer to shop at such places. Parking is ample on a stone lot, off of a quiet road. The greenhouse also borders the highway, making it an easily accessible location. Fall mums will be the next high demand product and we will indeed be back to buy them here.

Don't waste your money. We have rented both an excavator and skid steer from this company and had…read moreissues both times. The 1st time they wanted to charge us for the swing door at the engine even though it came to us already messed up. Then, come to find out the engine compartment doors coming loose on the Yanmar is a known issue amongst most Yanmar excavators. Then we rented a skid steer. They brought it to us with it leaking hydraulic fluid. To make things worse we rented the skid steer with tracks to help navigate our terrain better. Unfortunately, there was no tread on the tracks so all the skid steer would do is spin. This meant it took twice as long to get work done. The poor condition of the tracks made it impossible for 2 of the big jobs to be completed. Luckily the operator is well versed in running machines and was able to make it work for part of the job. We won't talk about how the back up camera didn't work, the fuel gauge level kept going up and down, and the pin that holds on the attacments wouldn't release properly causing us to lose valuable work time. Due to this, we were unable to beat the rain so the rain undid everything we had already done. The skid steer wasn't running at the horsepower it should have been running at so, the machine used way more fuel than it should have, if we go by what they charged us for fuel. Needless to say we spent almost $1300 for a machine that didn't work! Their fix was to only charge 1 day rental vs 2. Then they charged more for delivery and pick-up charges and more for fuel. We ended up paying more than what it was going to cost us for 2 days. We will be taking our business elsewhere and recommend that you do the same.
