Today I was told $5.00 per page and $2.00 each page after. I had to file a request for my mother's medical records. It included 12 pages. That would be $27 total for A FAX. I said no thanks. What you don't understand is we are living in a time of transition in West Virginia, and times are hard. People are trying to innovate and grow small business and we find the most unfriendly climate, from parking meters, to permits, to fees for things we wouldn't have dreamed of like $5.00 dollars for the first page of a fax. Truthfully, there are online services now, but I like to meet face to face with people. That stupid policy of charging unreasonable prices for a service that you COULD offer to the community for free just lost me as a potential future customer, and anyone reading this. I'm sorry. This is a bad trend in this area. If you want people to thrive, you have to do your part.
