The provider doesn't seem interested in doing routine dental work and seems more interested in selling implants. I don't need implants.

I had four implants 2 weeks ago and am very happy with the results. They explain everything which…read moreis more than my dentist at home does. I was impressed with their equipment and they even picked me up in Yuma on the day of my procedure. I am recommending them to all my family. Oh, I forgot to mention the price, it wasn't the great deal everyone leads you to believe but it was a good deal.

I was referred to this outfit by a close buddy of mine whom had some extensive dental work done…read moresome years back, loved their work, and highly recommended them. Being that my original front bridge that lasted around a decade recently finally gave out, I needed a new replacement in short time. I was sold on the idea that going to this place/Mexico would be the "cheaper" and potentially better quality option than having it done locally. Within a couple weeks, I made an appointment and lodged at a nearby hotel in Yuma. The outfit supplied the transpo to and from across the border which was nice. The other option is to drive yourself to the parking area just before the border and walk over. This place is pretty close. The office is small with just over a half dozen chairs inside. Luckily, the first day wasn't busy and business was swift. However, the 2nd/last day...chaotic. This place can fill up in like 2 seconds (ok, 5 secs) which can turn this little box of a place into a standing room only. At least the outfit was clean. At any rate, spoke with one of the main people there (I believe Arturo) whom suggested basically the same procedure as my local dentist in Las Vegas recommended but.... turns out he quotes me the same price as I would have done it locally. I was dumb-founded. Being that I had vested time, money, and lodging, I decided to go through with it anyway. The experience through this journey for me was like a roller coaster. I initially thought the owner guy that quoted the price/service was performing the work....nope. It ended up being one of his standby workers whom I originally thought were just assistants. Apparently, they are DDS's! I won't lie, had moments of hesitation throughout and questioned some life choices since the process had already started. During all this, they had a CO2 sensor that kept beeping every 30 secs or so during both days I was there which was extremely annoying. Seriously, thousands of dollars is going through this outfit probably everyday and they cannot manage a couple bucks to replace the battery? I even brought it up, they simply laughed. Fair enough, I guess. Despite all the nervousness and apprehension, things thankfully turned out fine. The setting of the bridge originally felt a little off but after a couple days of using it, it got better. I forgot her name (getting old) but she did a decent job. Personally, this place is fine. The people there are super friendly, just don't expect any hand-holding. Thick skin is required with a lot of trust! Don't believe the hype that going to places like this in Mexico is the better option, financially. It isn't. In fact, I ended up paying MORE with lodging and gas. Do your research and due diligence before committing. Oh, yeah, they do warranty their work for 3 years. Put 4 stars but should be around 3.5 generously. Good luck!

If you love spending hours sitting around in a Dentist Office absorbed with banality, you'll love…read morethis place. Me, I have better things to do. If I could leave my head and pick it up later that would be best. Seriously. I went for a routine cleaning...nothing special. I have another dentist I've gone to for years in WA state but need someone to see when I'm south just in case. They wanted to run up the tab with x-rays. When I called I asked if they needed my records from my other dentist, they said no...just come in. But when I got there, they wanted tons of x-rays which were not needed. Personally, I hate dentists and doctors that love to pad the bill with tests that are not needed. Beyond that, I never got my teeth cleaned. They gave me a tour which consisted of two rooms and the bathroom. LOL. They proudly pointed out the Certificates of the Dentists... one of these days I should frame my Degrees. So...meh. I'm glad they at least went to college. I got the newly minted Dentist from Harvard who must have just graduated. Let's not forget SOME of the doctors we see are in the BOTTOM half of the class. I'm sure she had a difficult time with not hurting the patient. Maybe she only practiced on manikin heads. Having had enough of the mirror being jammed in my gums I said ENOUGH and left. Oh, and I also left their free gift...as if I needed another water bottle. They do offer to rub your feet and give you a cozy wrap... only partly kidding.
