What imagination and creativity! I loved photographing each one. There was one house with tons of artwork. The entire front yard is adorned with them and I wondered if this is where the artist lives. Sure enough there were pamphlets near the sidewalk and that's when I learned that the artist is Patrick Amiot. His spouse, Brigitte Laurent, paints his works of art. He calls his creations Urban Folk Art. Some are quite huge but all are very unique and original. What an entertaining way to reuse metal. For feathers and scales, we noticed he layers flat jar lids and they look amazing after they've been painted. My favorite was (Buster) Posey and the two owls but there were so many we both loved. I drive up this street regularly but it is definitely worth it to park and take a closer look. Florence Avenue is like the artist's outdoor studio. It's a manageable and worthwhile leisurely stroll. You will see other metal sculptures around town by this artist and I happened to know that Mom's Apple Pie on Gravenstein Highway has one now too so I included a photo of it. Such fun whimsical creations!

Peanuts are her favorite, it's about 50 to an hour drive with traffic. Very easy to get to once we were there. It's in a beautiful little neighborhood. Plenty of parking. The museum itself has a lot of interesting things to read about and the history of Charles and how he started some interesting things I had never knew. The gift shop is very small not much to purchase. But we did discover if you cross the way there's an ice rink and they sell snacks there and then next to that there's a store that has tons of peanut merchandise.

The entire Schulz campus, including the gift shop and the ice rink is an experience. You will want to give yourself a few hours to fully experience this place. Up stairs, there is an area where you can sit and color and also trace your favorite peanut characters. They provide all the supplies to make your own paper Snoopy Dog House. It is very cute. The museum as several great picture opportunities throughout the museum. Even the bathrooms are themed with Peanuts characters on the tiles. In addition to enjoying the museum, I also highly recommend doing the "Peanuts on Parade". There are Peanut status all throughout the Santa Rosa area. Over 100 of them!!! We challenged ourself to find and take a picture with all of them. We got about 120 before we ran out of time. It's free, other than your time and gas to drive around, but it was an extended part of the Peanuts experience that we absolutely enjoyed.

Shhhhh. It's a secret!…read more Loved this place! Ended up there for Halloween and was so happy to see everyone there in like minded fashion had dressed up in thoughtful and original costumes. Then you're directed down a long hallway, up two flights of stairs, then down a shorter hallway then you're suddenly inside what can only be described as the best makeshift treehouse you can imagine. Your 8-year-old self is in heaven! I was in awe of this place when I walked in. It's small, but they still managed to put so, so much into it! There's a portion of a ship coming out of the wall and a captain's room next to it stuffed with books I've never heard of and many, many comic books with paintings and a roll-top desk. You go a bit further inside, seeing many, many posters and paintings throughout the way, then there's the world's tiniest bar to your left with the 1970's style black and white tile chipping away on the floor in front of it. To your right there will be the world's tiniest skate ramp with another room at the top of it. That's right, in order to get inside that tiny room, you'd have to climb up the skate ramp, like you would a slide that we all attempted to climb up as kids on a playground. In the very back of that room is the stage, and to the right of the stage is, yes, that tree house everyone has talked about. There is just such a vintage feel to this place, like you're going back in time. It's simply beautiful. On this particular night, we all had the enjoyment of listening to oldies from the '50's and the '60's while we all had cheap beer and played Berlin Style ping-pong. Everyone had a blast, whether we were awesome at ping-pong or terrible at it, we all had the time of our lives! I HIGHLY recommend going at least once to check it out. Once you find it, it's worth it! I can't wait until their next event, and it's so close to the 16th and Mission BART station! The Secret Alley should be on everyone's bucket list.

He has a mental illness and has been abused by the jail/correctioal officers. He told me that they threw balogny sandwhichs at him in the cell, strip searched him, made fun of him and denied him access to visits with grandma and I. The jail staff presents well , and seems decent, but upon looking deeper, you can see the real problems here. Most people, if not all, eventually get released from this pink castle. They go back into the community often worse off then they went in. This place is a drain on tax payers money, and its full of courruption. Just wait, this pink castle will meet the fate of every other bastille. oh, but you think this time is diffrent? let time tell.

Firstly, u can tell they know they're doing a bad job because u cannot find reviews or post any on Google. They've had it TURNED OFF! Secondly, u could tell more money goes in their pockets than to the facility that they get every year for funding because: -Across the board no one will tell u the food is even somewhat palatable there. The clothes are old, stained & smell no matter how much u wash them. -The mattresses for the beds aren't mattresses, they're floor mats. -The facility is disgusting regardless of the "janitor position that keeps it impeccable" like the website says. -It's run down, it's dirty. I'm not sure if any building inspectors have taken a look at it lately but they should. -The only way for inmates to be able to eat is to have money put on their books for commissary- which is only on Sundays to order. I myself have been trying for 3 days to put money on books so he can eat. I just got off the phone with the sheriff's there at the jail and asked if there was some other way besides JailATM to put money on an inmates account. All the different options they put on their website don't work. Sonoma County is not opted in on those things for whatever reason. I did explain to the deputy that even though they list Access Corrections, JPay, TouchPay, etc.. Sonoma County has opted out! Why?! I've had no issues with JailATM before and all the sudden I do now. I need to take a selfie with my ID and send it to them. But nobody's there on the weekends so it doesn't really help me out. Let's not fail to mention the inmates are locked up almost the entire 24 hours in a day. They're pretending like covid is still in full swing like it was 2 years ago. They always use the excuse if they're understaffed for everything they don't want to do whether they're in the jail or out on patrol. It's just they don't want to do their jobs. Cuz they get a lot of funding that is public information you can attain that easily..along with all the lawsuits and charges that have been brought against them. Sonoma County Sheriff has not quite a reputable reputation. They get sued a lot, and it's not surprising.

The staff i recommend to stay away from is ms.liza, shes pretty awful and has managed to get half of the school to hate her, and im not exaggerating theres only around 20-30 students that actually like her.The staff are pretty bad, but a lot of them are also good; so its pretty much in between, but the fact that multiple high roles havent done anything about ALL the complaints they have got about this staff is awful. So many people have talked about her to the counselor, office lady, principal, the only ones who actually tried to do something was the 5th grade teachers, thats it. They hardly do anything whenever they get complaints, one of my friends in 3rd grade was being touched in her areas, and sexually assaulted; When this was reported by the parents they were told "its not considered assault until 4th grade" assault is assault. It does not matter the age. Now onto the community and people in the school, theres many friendly people that are worth talking to, but then 80/100 of the kids in our school are overly judgemental, no matter what you do you will most likely always be put down, looks, weight, size, eye color, skin color, hair color, style, voice, anything you can think of is talked terribly about even the things your most passionate about, the school is very opening to LGBTQ+ members though, and that does make me happy, but other then the staff, and the judgement the school is pretty cool, i only recommend it if your not too sensitive. But remember never change yourself for others no matter what.
