A friend of mine recommended this place to me, so I went there with some friends and I was not disappointed. It's my new favourite place to go grab some sweet, delicious heaven! First of all, he waffles themselves are amazing. They'e soft and fresh and almost melting in your mouth (in a good way, haha). Also, you can add almost any topping existing, from varying fruits (I first went there in february and they still had all the fruits available!) to sweet chocolaterie (Raffaelo, Ferrero Rocher etc.) and stuff like white chocolate sauce and coconut sprinkles. And well, overall it just tastes amazing. Also, there's a lot of place for groups inside, we were a group of 6 and there was enough space for us all, haha. The service there is also incredibly friendly and helpful and the price is ridiculously low for such a treasure - definitely a new favourite place for me! read more

I went here twice within one week and every time the service was just too good and nice to be real. If the waffles weren't such big calorie bombs, I'd be here twice every single week of the month. read more

History

Established in 2012.

WonderWaffel findet seine Uhrsprünge schon in der Kindheit von den Brüdern Murat & Ulvi Topcuoglu, Im Jahre 2012 wurde der erste WonderWaffel Store weltweit von drei Studenten eröffnet. Nur vom Eigenkapital, welches von Aushilfsjobs stammte, wurde der Anfang des Projektes "WonderWaffel" finanziert. Nach langem Suchen, Umdenken und überlegen war 2012 dann klar: Der erste WonderWaffel Store worldwide soll am Kottbusser Tor in Berlin Kreuzberg eröffnet werden! Und das war nur den Anfang des erfolgreichen Franchise-Unternehmens, denn Stand April 2024 gibt es Rund 40 WonderWaffel Filialen auf der ganzen Welt, und damit nicht genug, denn es sind bereits weitere in Planung!

We heard from several locals that we must pay a visit to Wonder Waffel before leaving Berlin and…read moreone evening we found ourselves not too far away and popped in for a waffle. It is a bit overwhelming as to all the choices for your waffle so we took the easy street and had ours stuffed with bananas and cover with dark chocolate. There was only one guy manning the counter, waffle maker and register. He was quite the character with a huge beaming smile on his face the entire time despite there being about 15 to 20 people in there looking to get waffles. His strategy was to first take everyone's order back to back and then move over to the waffle iron and condiment station to make them up one at a time. When one was completed, he would hustle it out to the appropriate table. Needless to say this meant that it take a good 15 minutes before we got our waffle. I will say it was worth the wait though as it was light and full of flavor with just the right mix of toppings. Maybe we had selected a good combination, I don't know. I would not go too far out of my way to come here but if you find yourself a few minutes away than why not?

The only reason, I gave it a four is based on the assessment of the cafe itself. The entrance door is not spring loaded, which means people walking in and out, who do not take the time to close the door, leave the door open. It was a cold and breezy night and this was often annoying. With your earnings, please invest on a better and more functional door! :)

I ordered the Happy Waffle and couldn't believe I almost finished the whole thing. Unlike America, they don't use much sugar so it was completely tolerable and I didn't feel guilty or even gluttonous I added scoops of ice cream (vanilla and mango), strawberries, mango, mandarin oranges and other fruit, white chocolate, assorted local chocolates, and sprinkles. The personal touch did it for me though. I could not stop grinning and taking pictures lol it was soooooo good looking and I didn't know where to start. The owner was super welcoming and hospitable. He brought me hot tea to go with my waffle. I look forward to returning to Germany just so I can get another waffle.

Their lemon sorbet is bright, fresh and tastes like lemons, not artificial flavouring. They also give you a freshly baked butter waffle cone if you get three scoops or more. 2. Schon so oft hier gewesen, dass ich es nicht mehr zählen kann. Meiner Meinung nach ist WW unvergleichbar mit anderen Cafés. Man kann zwischen sämtlichen Variationen wechseln, was einem die Enttäuschung nicht vereinfacht, da es eine tolle Auswahl gibt. Es gibt Saucen, wie Erdnussbutter, das altbekannte Nutella oder Fruchtsaucen. Dazu noch einiges an Obst, es werden saisonal mal mehr im Angebot sein. Außerdem Toppings wie Kokosflocken oder gehobelte Mandeln und sogenannte Specials, die 60ct Aufpreis kosten, wie KinderRiegel oder Oreokeksen. Meist zahle ich zwischen 4€ und maximal 6€, was mehr als gerechtfertigt ist, denn so eine Waffel ist nicht zu unterschätzen. Die kann sehr sättigen und ist wahnsinnig lecker. Alles in allem immer zu empfehlen. Auch immer nette Mitarbeiter/innen, die euch euren Namen zu eurer Waffel schreiben - natürlich mit Schoki. EDIT: zu manchen Zeiten sind die Läden etwas voll und es KÖNNTE zu Wartezeitem kommen, da die Läden jeweils nicht so groß sind. Ich persönlich musste aber glücklicherweise noch nie warten read more

Wir haben unseren Dailydeal-Gutschein in dem letzten Monat verwendet (3 mal 2 Waffeln+2 Heißgetränke+2 Shakes) und wir waren sehr begeistert. Es handelt sich um einen kleinen, aber süßen Laden. Am ersten Tag haben wir wahrscheinlich den Besitzer getroffen, der uns außerhalb des Deals Special-Toppings gewährt hat (super nett^^). Die Waffeln sind sehr lecker und sättigen mehr als man denkt. Man hat schon zu kämpfen, die Waffel aufzuessen, jedoch sind sie so lecker, dass man sie einfach aufessen muss! Die Shakes und Heißgetränke waren in Ordnung, aber das absolute Highlight sind die Waffeln. Beim zweiten Besuch war der Laden sehr voll, die Bedienung war nichtsdestotrotz sehr sehr freundlich und hat alles super hinbekommen (zum Teil war nur 1 Person da, die sich um alles gekümmert hat), großen Respekt dafür! ...ein toller Laden, den ich nur empfehlen kann! Die Qual der Wahl, das ist es, was einen zunächst bei Wonder Waffel erwartet. Bei all den leckeren Zutaten und Toppings fällt es echt schwer, sich zu entscheiden. Aber egal, auf welche Toppings und Extras die Wahl schließlich fällt, die Waffel sieht nicht nur toll aus, sondern schmeckt garantiert! Ich war bis jetzt immer restlos begeistert: es hat immer sehr gut geschmeckt und toll sah die mit allen ausgewählten Zutaten prall gefüllte Waffel auch immer aus! Dass die Waffel dann mit dem Namen versehen noch an den Tisch gebracht wird, ist natürlich ein weiteres kleines Highlight. Ein Ausflug dahin lohnt sich auf jeden Fall: ein, zwei Freunde mitnehmen und den Nachmittag bei Wonder Waffel verbringen und schlemmen- ein Muss für alle Kölner und/oder Waffelliebhaber! read more

Ein Bild lohnt nicht. Keine Servietten, stattdessen wird Zewa aus der Küche geholt. Das Besteck ist vor der Kasse und alle Leute sabbern und spucken bei der Bestellung drauf. Unhygienisch der Typ der die Waffeln macht und belegt. Nur einen Handschuh an und grapscht alles an. Weiterhin sabbern beide Jungs hinter der Theke über die Waffeln bei Konversationen. Aber Hygiene ist bei Bauern nicht großgeschrieben. Hatte ich ein solches Geschäft, MUß Mundschutz getragen werden und das Besteck würde woanders stehen. Keine Servietten! Wo gibt es sowas. ich war am samstag bei der eröffnung und ich kann nur sagen woow! sonst bin ich immer in kreuzberg und ich dachte nicht, dass man das toppen kann, aber ich liebe die einrichtung von wonder waffel neukölln. die waffeln schmecken genauso lecker wie in der adalbertstrasse plus es gibt eine eistheke. das eis ist sehr lecker vorallem das cookies eis hats mir angetan. komme die tage mit meinen mädels mal wieder rum. Vorsicht!!! Meiner Meinung nach machen diese Waffeln süchtig. Sie sind wirklich sehr lecker. Man sollte nur kurz davor nicht so viel essen, da sie doch sehr sättigen. Ich finde für drei Euro ein super Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Erdbeeren kosten ja nur außerhalb der Saison 60 Cent extra, im Sommer gibt es sie auch so dazu. Toiletten gibt es natürlich auch. Das Personal ist auch immer sehr freundlich. Super Laden!!! read more
