The staff members really inject life and warmth into what can be, in my experience, an otherwise cold, detached experience, especially for those of us new to an area where we had few or no prior interactions with a practice. I have several friends who are patients at LifeChoices and many of them have children who are also patients at LifeChoices. They really offer full-spectrum care to individuals and families who want a different experience. Truly a special place that I will continue to turn to for my primary care needs.

Additionally, when we had our appointments, the provider was cracking jokes about my younger son's weight being heavier than my older son's weight. This is a very sensitive subject for him, and he felt very embarrassed. It is not OK for a provider to embarrass my son. I will not be returning to this clinic for services. I will be seeking out a new clinic because they cannot meet the needs of my children. I am very disappointed. Additionally, the medical assistant just was asking questions and not validating anything. It felt like they were going through the motions to suffice the criteria of the physical, and not actually inquiring about our children's health concerns. She even said to my 12year old," you're not drinking alcohol or smoking, tobacco right?" " you wear a helmet wear your seatbelt and are safe on your bike right?" This is not how you conduct a patient interview. Their staff are not trained appropriately on how to conduct patient interviews. She answers all your questions and she make sure that you're satisfied with all your questions that you may have and she make sure that you understand the answers before you leave. Sometimes they run a little bit behind, but that's to be expected because she's extremely good at her job and women wait to see her. Most women would understand this since these appointments are probably the most uncomfortable and personal appointments women must go to routinely. When Orange Blossom Women's Group tried to get my medical records from Obstetrics and Gynecology of Trinity, they got no response after a dozen faxes they sent. I had to call O&G of Trinity because there was something very important that needed to be done regarding my insurance before my next appointment. Amber answered the phone and was very evasive regarding me being able to obtain my medical records and the denial they had already received from my insurance company. I won't go into all the details and make this review longer than it needs to be, but the more questions I asked, the more I was stonewalled and her tone began to become rude. I can't believe women would treat another woman this way when all I am doing is staying with a doctor I feel comfortable with! You would think that would be a no brainer. I found out later that several other patients I know are having this same issue with getting their medical records from O&G of Trinity who have followed DR. REUT BARDACH! It's like they are trying to punish her for being able to start her own practice. You would think women would EMPOWER one another and be happy for her and her achievements!
