I missed one appointment, but they keep insisting that I missed two. They even sent me a certified letter claiming I had "bad behavior," which is completely false. I was simply explaining to the manager my frustrations as a five-month pregnant woman who now has to find a new doctor because they couldn't bill me due to my Medicaid status for the missed appointment. They treated me like I was nothing, and they acted as if my pregnancy didn't matter, even though I am considered high risk and was waiting for the results of my detailed ultrasound. I had been sick throughout my entire pregnancy and had made prior phone calls regarding my health before the missed appointment, but those calls went unanswered. As a nonprofit organization catering to pregnant women, they should understand that we might not make it to certain appointments due to illness. They need to be shut down if they are more concerned about money than providing care to those in need.

On May 6, 2026 I received an statement for $25.00 I called the Women's care asking the reason of the charge. They said it was for OFFICE VISIT and that Medicare did not covered office visit. My appointment was not scheduled for office visit so I contacted Medicare and they said that Women's Care used the wrong code (99397) and that they need to provide the correct code for Medicare to make the payment. I called back Women's Care and spoke with Carol who confirmed that Women's Care uses that code and that I signed a paper work where I am responsible for the remaining balance. I agree with that, but I do not agree with the Women's Care using the wrong code and Women's Care needs to contact Medicare to request the correct code to get the payment. It seems that Women's Care does not care about processing the correct codes to charge the Insurance companies and whatever the Insurance rejects, then, the easiest way for Women's Care is to argue with the patient instead of fixing the mistake they have made. It is only $25.00 dollars, but the principal is they have done something wrong and they refused to correct it, causing a person on Social Security to pay the $25.00

I don't believe when people say things like: "she made me feel unimportant" or "zero warmth and empathy". She is so caring and kind, takes the time to sit and answer all the questions, cheer up and address all the concerns! I simply don't believe the bad reviews I see here. They probably have to fix their own attitudes. There are just people who are always unhappy and always feel victimized and feel like others don't treat them "as they deserve". I've been her patient for over two years and will continue to be her patient in the future. And I know what I'm talking about - my husband is a physician himself and I wouldn't take low-grade care from anyone. Highly recommend this professional.

I have been going to her ever since. Dr. Saravanos is the sweetest person I have ever met. I feel completely comfortable during our appointments and I also feel like I can talk to her about anything. Priceless qualities in a Doctor in my opinion. Her staff is always kind and attentive. They even noticed my engagement ring (when my husband proposed in 2009) and squealed like my girlfriends.
