I then called and left a message...no one returned the call. On the third attempt I reached someone and made an appointment for the 1st week of January. They then called me a few days prior and said they had to reschedule for the end of January...which was OK. I filled out all the paperwork online except for the insurance because the website was down. On my way there, there was an accident on park blvd but I still arrived 12min early only to be told that my appointment was canceled because I wasn't 30min early. I asked if there was more paperwork to be filled out and was told no. I asked why they needed me so early if there was no paperwork to fill out and was told that it's what the doctor wants. The receptionist said she would talk to the doctor and I sat in the waiting area watching as my appointment time came and went. Finally, after sitting there for almost 30min...the receptionist said the doctor wasn't going to see me and I would have to reschedule. I had to take time off of work for this appt...the doctor was obviously not even available at the appt time or had the decency to tell me herself she was canceling.

A very friendly expert in the field in Brandon, Fl told me the reason for my horrible experiences at numerous Women's Care facilities is due to how the company is owned and pushing patients for numbers to be met. He worked closely with Women's Care previously and succeeded further to open his own private practice, hence the tip he gave me about this specific business. *I had fibroids and endometriosis and they were trying to put me on a chemically induced menopause drug called Lupron at only 29 years of age with no children yet*. They told me if I didn't get on these drugs, I would potentially run the risk of my uterus being "Frankensteined". 3 doctors later, an MRI & news that if I were to take Lupron to "shrink" my 10 cm fibroid, I would have lost my hair and gone through menopause temporarily (hoping my period would come back) and go through absolute hell and it wouldn't have shrank because my fibroid was pedunculated.. An expert told me that Lupron doesn't shrink pedunculated fibroids. I do not believe this practice is professional enough or has expertise in such odd cases like myself. If you have endo/ fibroids go to Dr. Michael Stine in Brandon, Fl. He might be expensive but he is worth the relief you will get knowing the surgery you may need will be taken care of in the RIGHT hands who has done thousands of these surgeries, especially with odd cases like mine. Please god do not go to the Women's care with your business!!!!!!! They are pushing big pharma on you & will not diagnose you properly.

Also, if scheduled for a procedure, you are required to pay for that up front and in FULL as well before even being billed to insurance. Billing manager, Kim is very rude and Robin, office manager will not allow any patient to be seen unless total balance of bills are paid up front, no payment plan or exceptions made. I would not recommend this office.

I had blood test results that they never even discussed with me because of them being petty. But it's okay for them to be incompetent. Most of the techs in there that take vitals are rude. Dr. Horde tried to tell me anxiety wil not make your blood pressure go up which is hilarious that he is that ignorant. He also didn't send my pain meds for my dandc procedure until 24 hours after, did not talk to me after the procedure or the person who took me. But that's okay apparently, they have no accountability and if you say something they treat you like shit. A lot of petty high schoolers essentially running this place. I would steer clear. And no, I won't be taking this one down. As someone who has worked in the medical field, this place has a lot of issues they need to fix. This is covering just the tip of issues there. I had to call them due to a medical issue and that's when I found out they wouldn't see me. Patient abandonment is a thing. The office manager is super petty and immature.

I explained to her that I have an appt this Thursday to establish care as I am pregnant. She continued to tell me that she can't help me because I am not established. Despite having an appt this Thursday. As I am experiencing discomfort. She continued to speak over me then decided to tell me in a condescending tone "you're pregnant. You should relax" and hung up the phone on me. She is a disgusting reflection of the company and does not deserve to work in the medical field let alone OGBYN with women and pregnant women. She deserves to be fired and working with animals since she speaks to pregnant women like they're animals. A bad hire. Again, her name is Carmen, from the call center. If you call after hours, and get a Carmen from the call center, I suggest speaking to her boss as she does not value her job.

After dealing with rude receptionists at womens care and having them try to convince me to go with a male doctor, I am so glad to have found suncoast instead! Dr. Ruiz is very professional and makes the process very comfortable. Her staff is all female which is very important to me and they were all very kind. The office wasn't very busy either which made it feel more private. I would recommend this office to any woman and will definitely make it my primary OBGYN! Thank you for having a good office experience
