First-Hand Experience: I've seen Wolves play live both at Liverpool and at home, and being at Molineux was one of my favourite experiences. That was back in 09 but I have seen Wolves play live at Anfield since then. They're one of my fave teams, and there's no Steve Bull-sh** in that statement. They are an absolutely wonderful team from the West Midlands, rivals with the likes of WBA, Villa, Birmingham City, and yet they haven't been able to be a consistent Premier League team the way only Villa really have lately. They were one of the founding members of the league having been formed in 1877, and play in beautiful golden kits. Their stadium has a French name, and they were just promoted back to the second tier in 2014 after a spell in the third tier. They were in the top division for a very long time during the 1900s, too. Steve Bull was their greatest ever player, and GROWTH was a police operation to "get rid of wolverhampton's troublesome hooligans." They had some glory days in the 50s, and were Premier League Champions in 1954, 58, and 59, which means they pretty much dominated that decade. They were also runners up 5 times, including three times in the 50s and twice before the war. They were runners up in the UEFA Cup Final of 1972. They won the FA Cup 4 times, in 1893, 1908, 1949, and 1960. They also won the League Cup in 1974 and 1980, so they have a real history of winning big trophies and being a big, important team. True glory days for a city that was mainly overshadowed by Birmingham. For being an amazing old club playing in a beautiful colour with a lovely badge, they score max points.
