With whoever I am photographing, I strive to make everyone feel comfortable and authentic with the process, and to even have fun in front of my camera! I document Rural Americans for future generations, so that they do not experience the void that I have felt after losing my father and not having photos of him working. Capturing the working class is my passion. I also have a blast with high school seniors, striving to make them feel and look amazing, all while capturing their unique personalities in creative and artistic ways. To whomever steps in front of my lens, I guarantee that when you look at your images you will remember how unique and amazing you are! #beauthenticallyyou Additionally, I offer one-on-one photography education. I have been a professor for nearly 25 years and I love sharing my knowledge of this artistic industry!

History

Established in 1999.

Long before I became an official business owner I was capturing history on film. I still occasionally shoot film, but now I offer my clients amazing digitally printed archival products. I am a huge advocated of the printed image, because I want my art to stand the test of time and be something your grandkids can cherish! My mom told me I should be a photographer when I was 12. I ignored her for about 10 yrs. until I was working as a newspaper editor. It was during that time everyone else told me they loved what I do, and my photos. I then decided to listen to my mother and I went to school for photography. I have both a degree in Media Theater Art and a MA- each with a photo emphasis. I have also been teaching photography as an adjunct instructor at Bethany Lutheran College for 20+ years and also offer individual photographic education to those wanting to learn more about the art. Photography is my obsession, and I would love to share my passion with you and your family!
