The other 5 star reviews are right on target! I've just returned from the Wolgin office after receiving a much needed root canal. The women at the front desk were welcoming and just gave off a vibe that told me I was going to be taken care of. I don't remember her name for certain, but I think it was Skye (or maybe Kelli?) who prepped me with getting x-rays, explaining what the process most likely would be, and assisting Dr. Wolgin. She also made me feel welcome and appreciated as a patient (and was right on target about what to expect!) Prior to this visit my dentist had tried a few things to pinpoint the pain but wasn't successful. Dr. Wolgin had it clearly identified within just a few minutes and was able to start shortly after that. Not so long story short, the whole process was painless. Dr. Wolgin and Skye (I'm hoping I've got her name right!) worked as a true team, seamlessly going through the root canal process. Watching them work together added to my confidence that all would be well. It all went perfectly and I was out much sooner than expected - from arrival to departure it wasn't much more than an hour. Just amazing, as I didn't feel anyone was rushing - they just know how to do their jobs and do them very well! While I know they will try and prioritize emergency cases as best as possible, even if you have to wait a few days it truly is worth the wait to get an appointment. No one looks forward to a root canal but after this experience I know where I'll be going if another one is needed! It really was painless! read more

If you need a root canal, you NEED to go to Dr. Wolgin and team. I had been in pain for four days while traveling, I flew in to Philly for work, landed at 2pm and had finished my emergency root canal by 5pm. I have never felt more safe or prioritized at a health care office in my life. Thank you so much to the kind women who run the office for their communication and quickness and to Kelly and Dr. Wolgin for making the process so smooth. I will seriously flying back to Philly if the need for a root canal ever arises again. Thank you x100 read more

I can't say enough great things about this office - from the front desk staff to the clinical staff to the doctors. I had had one terrible root canal experience before, elsewhere, so when I went to see Dr Harley urgently I was pretty much hating the thought of another procedure. She was wonderful, skilled and had a great demeanor. It was - no kidding - a totally painless experience. I would absolutely not be concerned if I ever needed another one. read more

I cracked a tooth at 8PM and by 1:30 the next day I had a root canal thanks to Dr. Wolgin and his team. Root canals are not something one wants but if you have to have one, this is the place. Dr. Wolgin and his team were compassionate, kind, and thoughtful. This was a painless experience and the Dr. and his assistance's bedside manner (chairside manner?) really helped to keep an anxious me calm and relaxed. I don't want to go back, but if I ever have to have an emergency root canal, this is the place to go. THANK YOU, Dr. Wolgin and team. read more

I was in PAIN, never felt pain like that before (pro-tip: never break a tooth, haha)...I hurt so much I wasn't able to think straight. I called my dentist at 8 am asking for an emergency endodontic appointment...I was told to go to this group at 10 am. From the minute I walked in, all the staff was extremely sensitive to my predicament. I had minimal paperwork and wait time...within 10 minutes I was in the chair being numbed up (whoo, was able to think clearly again). His assistant was absolutely lovely and reassuring and Dr. W explained things well and was extremely quick and efficient. He made sure that I couldn't feel a thing and was very gentle. The noise of the drill can be jarring (so maybe next time I will wear head phones or something). Dr. W was also very professional, competent and open about if he felt like he needed to do something better (he told me he preferred to go deeper into a root based on what he say on the post-procedure x-ray). I REALLY appreciated that. (Getting another appointment in the near future was amazingly easy). I was numb and felt ridiculous but I was able to go back to work that same day and sleep well that night. read more

I was sent to Dr. Wolgin for an emergency root canal. I was very nervous because I HAAAAATE going to the dentist. As soon as I walked into the office and saw Clementine (IYKYK) I was immediately set at ease. The doctor saw me after a very short wait and determined that I needed the procedure. He was incredibly gentle and I did not feel a thing! My hands did not clench at all and I did not feel my heart rate raising to its usual panic-state when I'm in the dentist's chair. He was also incredibly respectful to his assistant, saying please and thank you for every tool she handed him. (I don't know why, but that really stuck out as something I liked about him.) I absolutely recommend Dr. Wolgin! 5 stars! A+! Would do it again! (though I hope I don't have to) read more

Thank you Dr. LEVIN and Staff for a most pleasant experience with all the latest equipment to perform my root canal work. The explanation of the process was great. I've had minimal soreness after the procedure. The professionalism and calmness after having worked all day and fitting me in on such short notice was so much appreciated. Would strongly recommend your Endodontic Practice to anyone. Keep up the good work! read more

UPDATE: The people processing the claims are very unscrupulous individuals. Complete disregard for ethics when it comes to handling your money. Terrible people. No morals and no fairness. They absolutely refuse to take accountability for their obvious mistakes. The visit was okay but 1 out of 5 stars due to insurance/payment reasons. Wolgin Endodontics lied to me about my visit. They told me that my initial consultation with them would be 100% covered. I asked them multiple times over the phone and in person prior to the visit. Each time they told me the same thing, it would be covered. I suspect this is a line they use as a strategy to get people in the door unknowingly. Then what they do is send you a surprise bill after the visit. They don't care what happens after the claim is sent or if the insurance covers it or not. They lied to me and said there is no way to verify the cost prior to the visit beginning. The financial coordinator is a liar and terrible person. They won't be honest with you and tell you upfront that there is a possibility you will receive a bill in the mail. They just say "it's covered". They justify what they are doing by saying "you signed an agreement before you came into the visit". Yeah, that's true, but they VERBALLY were dishonest. They don't care what happens after the visit. They process the claim and if something is due they just send it to you, even though verbally they lie about this. Then they will insist that the balance stays and that you must pay it. The visit itself was good and Dr. Quick is fantastic. It's ashamed that the financial coordinator is a terrible person and people are instructed to lie on the phone and in person regarding insurance in order to get people through the door. Who else knows what they could be lying about. Stay away, go some place else. read more

Please consider this review from the context of a child who experienced dental trauma so severe I refused to walk on the sidewalk in front of my Dentist's office. I would cross the street and cross back again further down the block to avoid that fear. I have been to Wolgin Endodontic Group twice for root canal procedures. I was seen by Dr. Berson on both occasions. The child above could not have imagined the pain free root canal procedures I experienced with Dr. Berson. When I recently suspected I needed Wogin's services again I actually looked forward to going to my appointment. Seriously, no exaggeration. Dr. Berson is professional and personable. On my recent visit, after my initial evaluation, Dr. Berson had concerns that the structural health of my tooth may have been undermined. If that were the case, the root canal services I would have paid for would have been wasted. Dr. Berson referred me to a periodontist to check the health of tooth structure, and when that was confirmed, she proceeded. Truly painless. I kept waiting to wince as the anesthesia was injected into my nerves, but there was NO pain. Dr. Berson and her assistant worked professionally to complete the procedure. I heard brief, quiet requests immediately fulfilled, followed by Dr. Berson's practiced fingers repairing my tooth with confidence. The entire process was less than 45 minutes from coat off to coat on for departure. Can't wait for my next root canal. read more

I have had to go in for multiple root canals here and can safely say the professionalism and treatment at this office is outstanding. Dr. Berson is wonderful and does an excellent job with making the root canals quick and painless. I have never worried about not being numb enough or in pain during the procedure. She also has been really good about explaining what's going on with my teeth and next steps. I can't say enough good things. read more

I was referred to Dr. Wolgin by my dentist after experiencing a lot of pain and discomfort in a tooth that I had a root canal on about a year ago. I called Wolgin Endodontic Group on a Wednesday and they were able to schedule me for an appointment that same week, which was pretty impressive. The staff members with whom I spoke to on the phone were VERY understanding, pleasant, and accommodating to my needs. When I arrived at the office, I was pleased to see that the waiting room wasn't a stuffy, outdated looking space but had a modern yet comfortable feel, which allowed me to relax while I only waited 10 minutes before being taken back to get x-rayed. Dr. Wolgin and his assistant demonstrated AMAZING bedside manner during the entire procedure and made sure that I was as comfortable as could be. If you're like me and you absolutely dread the drilling noise that accompanies all dental work, you'll be pleased to know that I was given a cushy pair of somewhat noise-cancelling headphones and I listened to Pandora radio, which definitely helped pass the time and calm my nerves. The procedure seemed to have only taken about 35 minutes and I was shocked to have left the office an hour after my appointment start time, but the most amazing part about this all was that I BARELY FELT ANYTHING! The most painful part had to be the needle in the gums to numb the area but in comparison to other dental experiences, that's nothing! Hours later once the local anesthetic wore off, my mouth felt a bit sore and achy as expected, but was not unbearable or debilitating. I was even able to return to work! If you're looking for quick AND professional service by a knowledgeable endodontist and respectful staff, you should definitely go to Wolgin Endodontic Group! read more

Dr. Wolgin and his staff are superb! I had dental treatment here in October 2020. It was fast and painless. Dr. Wolgin is very knowledgeable and has a great chair side manner. His staff is great too. I highly recommend Wolgin Endodontics. You won't be disappointed. read more

Insurance co dragging their feet to pay a claim (4 months), I already paid the deductible. I had no idea until Wolgin's office called me like I owe the mafia money. As soon as I was notified, I called the insurance company to demand they pay. They said they would in 48 hours (they didn't), I called them again to get it resolved (twice). I also filed a complaint with the state insurance board over the handling of this claim. In the meantime, Wolgin has sent me to collections. So now, my credit is personally impacted and Wolgin is treating me like I am deadbeat trash. I have never been treated so unprofessionally in my life. Wolgin is so desperate for the grand they are owed by an insurance company, they are trying to ruin my credit. I guess the moral of the story here is don't go looking for a dentist on Yelp, you might find miserable office workers petty enough to ruin your life over a thousand dollars. Oh, also, before I even went in for the appointment, they were trying to tell me the deductible was higher than it was and then admitted it was a mistake because their "system" was out of date. The behavior is so bizarre, it's like someone in the office desperately needs cash right away. read more

Painless and friendly Root Canals! Well Informed, best bedside manner, Josh Wolgin is a Legend, lets you know every step of the procedure what to expect and how long it will take, which takes a lot of fear and anxiety away .No one wants a root canal, but if you have to get one, this is the place, lovely top floor views, free parking validation, I can't say enough good things, so glad I found them. read more

It's very difficult to be enthusiastic about root canals, but I have to give these guys a shout out. I was referred specifically to Dr. Graver, who was tasked with repairing some shoddy work done by a crummy dentist long ago. He took the time to explain the condition of my teeth, what procedures would be performed, and what levels of discomfort I should expect (surprisingly minimal compared to the first go-around). Also, the ladies in billing were friendly and flexible with my payment schedule. Look them up if you're unlucky enough to be faced with similar dental work and they're in your plan. read more

I was referred to Dr. Wolgin and his team by my DMD. I was having some pain in a recently installed crown. The office is very nice, and my wait was very short from when I arrived until I was seen by the tech. The tech took some xrays, and then the doctor arrived to speak with me. Dr. Wolgin has clearly done many, many root canals (this would be my first) and he asked me a few questions about my symptoms, and did a few tests on my tooth...basically tapping on it, and applying something cold to it. He determined in less than about two minutes than I did need the root canal. He worked pretty quickly, but certainly not carelessly. He was in and out in 15 minutes, I'd estimate, and the actual procedure, while a bit uncomfortable, was not painful at all. All told, I was in and out of the office in about an hour, and this included the initial paperwork as a new patient. He confirmed that the root was dead after drilling into my tooth, so the procedure was exactly what I needed. Dr. Wolgin wasn't the most chatty doctor, as it's clear he keeps things moving patient to patient. He was personable, though, and I felt comfortable with his care. I would have liked it if he gave me some idea of what he was doing and how much time was left during the procedure, but since I'm not a dentist-phobe at all, it wasn't a big deal for me. If this is important to you, I'd ask for it specifically. My tooth was pretty sore for the rest of the day, but some Tylenol and Aleve did the trick. The next day, it was back to normal with very little pain at all. Overall, it was a good experience for something that people seem to dread. I'd recommend Dr. Wolgin and his office. My only two suggestions would be a little more information about what's going on with the procedure, how long it'll take, etc. Also, the room I was in seemed like it could use an update...the chair was a bit old, the xray machine seemed to be a little fickle (the tech had a hard time keeping it in the right place for the xray). Also, I wanted to brush my teeth before the procedure, but they had no toothbrushes or toothpaste, which was weird. I used their mouthwash, which was fine, but I thought it was strange they didn't have a toothbrush to use. read more

As soon as you walk in, your mind is put at ease regarding any dental work you are planning to receive. Dr. Wolgin and his staff not only welcome you to the practice but they also do not lecture. I sought their services to treat an existing crown and the experience was the most comfortable dental treatment I have ever received. Although I hope I do not have to return, I wouldn't be scared to do so. read more

I called Dr. Wolgin's office to see if they could squeeze me in for an emergency root canal. They were more than accommodating! I arrived nervous after an episode with my previous dentist that caused me to have this root canal in the first place. The whole office staff from front desk to dental assistants, and Dr. Wolgin made me feel VERY comfortable. This was my first root canal so I wasn't sure what to expect but Dr. Wolgin explained to me step by step what he was doing. I was in and out in a breeze. I'm normally very cautious when trying new offices and usually skeptical of other's reviews because I think everyone has a slightly different level of expectations but this place has me sold! They will be getting all my referrals to friends in the future. Thank you Wolgin Endodontics for everything you did for me. read more

This office is great and the staff is very welcoming and profesional. I came here for a root canal and i have to admit dentists in general scares me. I had a pretty bad experience with my last dental appointment at my general dentist which cost me to have to cone to see dr. Wolgin. My appointment was at 9am and as soon as i waled in i was greeted and taken care of very quickly. The whole process was pretty painless and i really appreciated that they answered all the questions i had. Hopefully i will never need another root canal but if i do, i will definitely go there. Fyi - i compared two offices pricing and the price was considerably less at this office. read more

I am so grateful for Dr. Wolgin and his entire staff. I am a Dental Hygienist that is afraid of the Dentist. I was in pain and needed to have a root canal retreat ( I had 2 abscesses on a tooth that had root canal more then 20 years ago. We called on Friday and I had an appointment early Monday morning. This is because they will not turn away a patient in pain. The procedure was explained to me. The Doctor and assistant made sure I was completely comfortable with the work that was going to get done. I was afraid the assistant got me through the numbing process. I have to say I didn't feel a thing not even the initial shot to numb me. They are serious about the work but try to keep the vibe light and safe. All covid precautions are in place. The staff is kind efficient and willing to answer all questions. The procedure was painless. I highly recommend this office. read more

I just had an emergency root canal by Dr. Wolgin and it was totally painless (they do have to "test" your tooth to make sure you need it which isn't fun but its not terrible). I also got nitrous which seemed to take the edge off. I would highly recommend this office if you're a dental coward like me and don't like to feel even a twinge of pain during a procedure!
