Mike was always available to talk about our project and gave me the truth about what the repairs and upgrades would cost, as well as his professional opinion about color schemes. He was easy to work with, very knowledgeable, and courteous. We had several pieces of additional work, and Mike and crew integrated this additional work scope into the original work very well. I would highly recommend them for future work. Ken and Donna G. Prosser, WA

We had been trying to find a…read morecontractor to fix our bathroom floor since last October 2020, when we noticed it was getting bouncy. We had four contractors come out to our home and check it out. We contacted two large companies, Zion in Pasco, and Clean Image Restoration, in Kennewick. Both said that the 5/8 press board that the previous contractor, [2015- 1st Choice Restoration] used was not meant for counter tops and NOT sub-flooring! Both of these businesses said they would send us a written estimate for our insurance company. They never have. Zion sent someone out twice, but never did send us an estimate. We dealt with a man there named Urbie. Our last text was terse on my end and he finally answered, saying he'd been sick. Apparently he couldn't ask anyone else to take over for him. I asked if he was so sick he couldn't speak or send a text? He didn't respond. I called our insurance agent to see if they knew of anyone else? He said they had used Clean Image Restoration, Kennewick, WA before, so we called them [contact was Doug]. Same results as with Zion. On December 14, after nocturnal trip to the bathroom, I fell through the floor. Bright and early the next day, we contacted Doug at Clean Image with this info and still no responses to this day. Finally, we were led to a man named Michael Cardenas. He came out right away [Feb.12, 2021] and looked the job over. He phoned the next day and told us how much his estimate was. He said he had a couple of jobs to finish, but would start our job on February 22nd. He estimated it would take a week to finish. He e-mailed a contract promptly, we looked it over and accepted it. Mike was here at 8am, on the 22nd and everyday thereafter, except for one, when he needed to pick up some supplies.. When we called, or texted him, he responded in a very timely manner. It really sent a message to us that, even though our job was small by comparison to other things he has done, our project was just as important to him. I'm elated to say that they finished our job on February 26th and our floor looks great! He and his assistant even put back our washer and dryer, though we hadn't contracted with him to do that. After the nightmare we've had with contractors' [going back to the 2015 nightmare that was 1st Choice Restoration in Kennewick] we were hunkering down for another round of headaches. But boy, were we ever pleasantly surprised! As I said before, we highly recommend Cardenas All Around Construction & Remodel them for their excellent communication skills, dependability, and first-rate repair and remodel skillset.

So even though we had heard the horror stories about remodeling, we decided to look into it. Fortunately, we found the right company. Atlas Cabinets & Design performed a large remodel of our home in various locations. We had them design and install a new deck with hand railing as well as add stairs to connect the upper deck with the pool area. They also installed under cabinet lighting to our kitchen cabinets as well as install a beautiful full tile backsplash to our kitchen cabinets. They also built an amazing entertainment center with glass shelves! We love it and it looks awesome in our great room. They remodeled our bathroom with new designer plumbing fixtures, a new tiled in tub and shower and new cabinetry and quartz counters. It all came out PERFECTLY! And on budget . . . which was a bit of a surprise. On time, on budget and done as they said they would. One thing they did do: they damaged our existing range. It was a total mistake and we felt bad, but not only did they own up to it without us having to go to them, they actually replaced the range. We told them they didn't need to, but they said "Our mistakes are not your mistakes. We'll take care of it". That just goes to show you the type of team they have at Atlas Cabinets and I will recommend them to anyone who wants to remodel their home, needs a new kitchen, or like in our case, a variety of things.

You would be better off hiring a random guy off craigslist for a couple thousand, let him run off with your money, then hire a different outfit and come out and the total cost would still be less than re-bath and a better end product.

I was actually told they're the only company in the world who will do tile setting. Ridiculous company

He basically takes the big box stores quotes and tells you to cut them in half. I was looking for a wood mill shop for an "emergency" fix on my stair treads. I called around and for 17 solid wood treads, I was finding the best rate for someone who could possibly do it, would charge 70 dollars an hour and they didn't know how long it would take to hand route the tread edges and they weren't sure when they would be able to get to it or finish it. We needed the job done immediately. I called D'whittle shop and asked if he could do the routing anytime soon, as I have installers waiting on the fix. He was so kind and said come on in right now, I'll whip them out! I was so happy, called my husband, he loaded his pockets with some cash and headed over. The owner, Ray finished the job & when asked how much....he asked for 40 bucks. I couldn't believe it. 40 bucks!?!?? His shop was busy busy busy, he stopped all work immediately and helped us out big time. He did a great job and was very happy to do it for us. Gave him extra cash & told him to take his wife to dinner.
