First-time homebuyer review!…read more I've been "self-educating" myself on the homebuying process and assessing my local market for at least two years. I attended ONE Houwzer First-Time Homebuyer seminar and knew I had found my "home" with them! It was important to me that I had support readily available to answer my questions and usher my paperwork through a quick, efficient and seamless process. Susan McHale hosted the webinar alongside Casey Hansen, both of whom followed-up that same week to answer any questions I might have. Because the actual mortgage process scared me the most, I worked with Casey for an estimated pre-qualification, and ensured I knew what would come next - from Pre-Qualification to searching within budget, to closing. He walked me through it end to end and a month later, submitted a Pre-Approval Request with Casey. Just a few days later, I read that my friend, Muoki Musau had joined the Houwzer team as an Agent, and Susan so kindly supported my decision to partner with him on the home buying process (thank you, Susan!!!!). The rest is history. Honestly - I am happy to speak to absolutely anyone who wants to hear a first hand, real life experience of what it's like to buy today, the types of negotiations you might find yourselves in, how I prepared for this moment, and speak ENDLESS VOLUMES about the kindness, professionalism, responsiveness and ATTENTIVE NATURE of this entire team. I found a home in 2 weeks, and we closed in 30 days. And despite it's ups and downs, let me tell you, it's the most fun I've ever had. Thank you, thank you, thank you, team! With special love to Casey, Muoki, Susan, Brittany, Ayrlicea (esp. Ayrlicea!!), Fiona, Mia and anyone else I may have inadvertantly missed who just WORKED THE MAGIC while I slept and carried on my day!!

Stony Hill Business Brokers and there team are tops in my book, from the 1st letter of intent…read morethrough the due diligence phase, to the close. They were there all the way including every little hurdle the financing company threw out. I highly recommend Stony Hill, and will definitely use them again on my next acquisition. True professionals, you get what you pay for and in this instance I got more than anticipated.

Quite the horrible experience. I hired this firm to help me sell a technology company, and they…read moreexecuted poorly, with little to no communication, and a general lack of interest in helping me. They did however, collect $2,500 from me up front for an executive business listing contract, only to decline in interest in actually following through with appropriately marketing my company, and making efforts with interested buyers to close deals. Just to keep myself in the loop of their progress, I had to constantly email their people, one of whom being "Eric Gidney," and in response I would get very brief one sentence remarks, displaying both a lack of interest, and a total disregard for helping me sell my company. This company will take your money, and do the bare minimum they have to do under the contract they make you sign. They likely get away with just taking up front money from companies they are purporting they'll help list and sell, and then doing virtually nothing for the entirety of the contract, and then not wishing to renew the business listing contract. I'd say they are a step away from being a complete and total scam, and no sensible, intelligent business owner that's looking to hire a business brokerage firm should EVER consider using Stony Hill Business Brokers to sell their company. They will sadly underperform, you will lose the money you paid to them, and any shred of hope that they would help you to sell your company will be out the door. This is an extremely unprofessional company, and their senior contact, Eric Gidney, was one of the most atrocious violators of general sales and business etiquette I've seen in my 10 years in business. Steer extremely clear.
