I needed a new whole life insurance policy. We worked with an agent, never heard from him again…read more After a lot of calls, we found out he was no longer with the company and had offered us plans the company did not approve of. Ok, one bad apple... So we start over with a new agent. Takes forever to get a meeting set up. He is knowledgeable, and we chose a plan. He's going to roll over the old one into the new plan. We submit paperwork. I assume it's all taken care of. Months later, I get a bill. It's from the old whole life insurance plan. Turns out, no one ever rolled it over into the new plan! I emailed the agent and left several voicemails. No one ever called back. Not giving them any more chances this time. I'm closing the old plan and looking elsewhere for a new plan.
