Do not hire Tim Wolfe! If I could give him a zero star rating, I would. We had him install a patio and outdoor fireplace and a wall to cover our pool pump. Long story short, he does shoddy work, degrades the customers, especially if you are female. He would not communicate with the customer and said he can't talk to the wife because he "mansplains" things. I guess a female just isn't smart enough to hold a conversation with him in his mind. He left litter all over the work site and in the surrounding yard, including his dip cans when he left for the day which is unacceptable in itself but horrible when children reside at the residence. He did not complete the job although he said he did. We have a written contract and proof through photographs that he did not. We made him remove the face of the fireplace because we did not like his design and the new face fell apart the very next day right in front of friends. Word of mouth couldn't get any easier at that moment. He left gaps in the wall that covers the pump because he skipped steps of cutting the pavers to make a curved wall fit together. He left excess sand all over the patio making the customer do the clean up and do the rest of his labor and fill in holes and cracks of the pavers. The base was not properly done so the herringbone design has wavy lines when inspecting it at an angle. Another professional said it has to be redone or it will be a mess within a year! His end result looked nothing like his initial sketch he gave to us, which secured him the job. When questioned about his work, that is when he degrades the customer and a bully personality comes out without the understanding that he was paid to do a job by the customer - not put in what he wants, but should listen to what the customer wants!
This job breaks my heart because my father recently passed and I was given some money from him. We decided to use it for something to remember him by and watch the beautiful sunsets from our backyard. Tim knew this and produced work that now has to be torn apart and redone. So this runs deep because it was supposed to be something I could thank my father for having and now I wish I never heard of Tim Wolfe. I don't want this to happen to someone else and this is the only way I know how to warn others! read more
