I also had the fish in green curry and it was absolutely fantastic, I would order it again and again. Wife had the tum yum sweet and sour soup and avocado rills rolls also both she raved about. This place is not as expensive as other places on Copenhagen for sure, budget friendly and the service was spot on. We didn't feel rushed nor did they bother us too much. Atmosphere slightly dark and perfect for talking. I can't wait to go back, do your self a favor and give this place a try if you like Thai food.

First of all, the service is amazing. The two men were super friendly and welcoming. One of them even walked us outside to say bye to us. The menu has a full page for vegetarian options, which was incredible to see. I chose the Massaman Curry and it was flavorful and delicious. The ambiance is quiet and cozy. Most people would want to sit outside, and we did as well for two nights. But this is a nice indoor restaurant when you want a bit of upscale and quiet time. The food is amazing. Highly recommend it.

If you are anywhere near this restaurant stop in…read more I liked it so much I came back again for dinner. I rode my bike over both times. They make you feel welcome, they have English and Danish menus, but mainly locals eat here it seemed. The prices are reasonable. They have a patio and some inside tables that looks out onto the most beautiful body of water--it's a high end upscale residential area on a lake. You can rent a boat. You can easily build romance here before and after dinner in this area. It seemed safe to me as long as you stay near the water/shore. The food is excellent. I had the Chicken with Vegetables both nights with the best tasting rice. They cut fresh vegetables here. Chicken was soft and tender--a little bit on the too salty side for me. When you ask for tea, they don't give hot water and tea bag, they give you an entire iron kettle of brewed tea. It's a family run operation. Kind of like eating at home with a Thai family. Consistency will vary a bit, kind of like cooking at home. I felt good after my meals here.

The place is cozy and lit with candles throughout, we were seated at a table by a window looking out at the River. My husband and our friend ordered beers, I stuck with water. We then ordered angel wings, coconut curry soup, chicken pad Thai, cashew chicken, and a ginger spicy dish. Everything was really great! Will definitely return when visiting Copenhagen again.,

Kiin Kiin is the only Michelin starred restaurant Thai restaurant outside Thailand. Their…read moreimpeccable reputation is well deserved. To save some money, we went for the four course early dinner, which still offers most of the Kiin Kiin experience for about half the price. You'll begin your journey in the lounge, where you will be presented with 8 or so amuse bouche dishes that can be enjoyed in a single bite. The dishes, which change nightly, included pork rinds with eggplant curry jam, steamed eggs with miso, lettuce wraps with chopped vegetables, duck sausages with red cabbage, and fish tartare. Don't miss their handmade cocktails. After enjoying the fun bites, we went upstairs for the dinner. The first course consisted of flounder with a green salad and ginger dressing made table side. Then, we had a green curry and cod soup, which was accompanied with Thai eggplant and salt roasted. The next course was steak and squid. The fresh squid was incredibly soft and presented tastefully. My only complaint was that the steak was cut into rather large pieces and it was difficult to chew a piece of steak the size of your palm - apparently the Thai don't use knives and Kiin Kiin stays true to this tradition. For dessert, we were offered banana cake, with shaved coconut and coconut ice cream. It was splendid. As you can imagine, the service was flawless, and I loved the food, particularly how each dish brought different flavors together and allowed the flavors of the ingredients to shine through. Rather than take the wine accompaniment, I tried the juice parings. Each dish came with a fresh delicious choice of juices: jasmine lemonade with the fish, lime and ginger with the soup, red grapefruit with the beef, and cold chai tea with dessert. A trip to Copenhagen isn't complete without a visit to Kiin Kiin.

There was def something off about the night because we and others were left at the door with no greeting for about 8-10 mins - everything was just a little slow. Like maybe they were short staffed. Also they kind of ignored us after we were done eating even though we wanted to pay the bill lol. However, food was really great and no complaints otherwise, lots of showmanship, and flambé!
