And wauw, so so fresh fish with nice crispy fishskin, grilled on a lemon grass stick with fresh herbs, on the side there was grilled cabbage and the best imaginable dip with fresh herbs. Sounds a little plain or simple? Yes, but somehow it was totally crazy good! When all ingredients are fresh and good, you don't need anything else. On top of this, we got a really delicious IPA beer from the Danish brand Jacobsen. Perfect dinner!

They make you feel welcome, they have English and Danish menus, but mainly locals eat here it seemed. The prices are reasonable. They have a patio and some inside tables that looks out onto the most beautiful body of water--it's a high end upscale residential area on a lake. You can rent a boat. You can easily build romance here before and after dinner in this area. It seemed safe to me as long as you stay near the water/shore. The food is excellent. I had the Chicken with Vegetables both nights with the best tasting rice. They cut fresh vegetables here. Chicken was soft and tender--a little bit on the too salty side for me. When you ask for tea, they don't give hot water and tea bag, they give you an entire iron kettle of brewed tea. It's a family run operation. Kind of like eating at home with a Thai family.
