We ordered -fried rice with chicken (3/5) - pretty heavy on rice and cabbage compared to any other ingredients, very mild, but enjoyed it enough. The baby corn in this and the veggies dish tasted weird, like a fermented / canned flavor (not "fish sauce fermented" - we love that - but like "accidentally overripe fruit fermented"). It wasn't great but I was hungry enough I could overlook it. -pad Thai with chicken (3/5) - nothing special but went down easy -stir fried veggies (#34, I think) (4/5) - vegetables pleasant and fresh tasting, except for the baby corn, see above). -pineapple juice - kiddo ordered this, it disappeared quickly -Thai green iced tea (1/5) - strong off putting medicinal flavor, like aspartame, couldn't drink this -yuzu gin cocktail - husband ordered this, it disappeared quickly Huge portions, as others have noted. Great food and service! We were looking for something different for dinner and we had Thai on our mind. I checked this place out and they showed no reservations available. I called and they said they could squeeze us in which they did. They have a huge menu. The staff is very friendly. We ordered a bottle of wine, appetizers and our meals. The wine and appetizers came out quickly. Our meals took quite some time to make - maybe 40 minutes. But they came out hot and they were both huge! My wife ordered Pad Thai with Tofu (extra crispy). Customer is great, but the dishes, that is quality of, left my mouth watering long after I left. I ordered spring rolls and panang curry chicken. This is the 1st time I have had fresh spring rolls. I mean, you can taste every vegetable in the roll. The chilli sweet red sauce was a nice treat compared to getting duck sauce at most restaurants. Great place. Food seems a little expensive, but these dishes are easily big enough for 2 to 3 people each so when that's factored in, it's quite cheep. Quality of the food was magnificent. The red curry with salmon was hands down the best curry I have had. That includes travelling Thailand for 10 weeks and living in Australia. The dish was served on a candle base to keep it bubbling away which added ambience and worked extremely well. Highly recommend. That said, I also highly recommend sharing a plate, or maybe two for 3 people. Dishes are well and truly oversized. I'm biased because I came here with a Thai person so perhaps the food was better because of it. But I don't think so. We had a special dish of fried whole fish covered in spices which can only be ordered if you speak Thai. We also had two kinds of curry, a spicy pork roast dish which was mixed with kale (so pork belly with crackling and kale), and white rice was part of the meal. Not extra. Portions were large and the doggy bag was bright green. I ordered the nue nam tok, which was a steak with a spicy fish/lime sauce and Thai herbs. It was so fresh and was actually proper Thai spicy! The steak had a decent amount of fat to add to the umami deliciousness! The sauce was sour, salty, and spicy. It is my first time here and definitely will not be my last. Who would have thought a Thai Food restaurant in the meat-packing district of Copenhagen would the HOT spot on a Thursday night?? It was cold and rainy so we were craving some comfort food. My husband and I were looking for restaurants near our hotel and passed by BTI. It was full inside while some of the neighboring restaurants looked empty. We were seated quickly before a swarm of other customers arrived. We ordered the Pad Thai and another noodle dish. Of course, I needed to try the Thai ice tea beverage too. This place has amazing food. We were vacationing in Copenhagen and found this gem near our hotel. We dined here twice. The first time we had excellent service from a nice young man. We visited near closing time, yet he was welcoming and pleasant toward us. Our second visit wasn't as good service wise hence the 3 star rating. On this visit, the older lady taking the orders ignored us and actually served people that arrived after us their drinks and appetizers before attending to us. With two visits, we were able to try the Coconut soup with prawn, Pad Thai, green curry and Massaman curry. It was all good, but the soup was insane. This place was unfortunately disappointing for me, someone who eats Thai food a lot in many different cities. My partner and I arrived at 4:40 pm on a Friday and since we didn't have a reservation, we were told that the earliest time we could eat was 7:30 pm. We saw raving reviews about this place so we wanted to wait. We ordered shortly after we arrived, yet two larger groups (one of them consisting of 6 people) who arrived half a hour later than us got all of their food before we did, which was seriously alarming. We waited almost an hour and a half for our two dishes. His duck curry was pretty good, but the actual amount of curry in the plate was very skimpy as the plate was very wide and shallow. My pad thai was extremely disappointing, as it was less spicy and salty and more "smoky". Unless you prefer pad thai that way, I wouldn't recommend this place as it is the first time I've ever eaten pad thai cooked like that. We were glad to see people with Thai roots among the guests, which is IMHO a good proof of authenticity.
