Of course the outside is probably more popular with the smokers so us non-smokers have to suffer the odd whiff of smoke in our direction. A popular social area, there are street performers so if you are lucky you may get some live music as you dine. Down side is that you can also get approached by beggars. Extensive menu of Japanese food from sushi, curries, noodles, rice dishes etc, I think you would be hard pushed not to find something to eat. I opted for the Salmon Teriyaki which was nice if not a little too salty with a little too much sauce. Nevertheless I ate it all. My sushi loving companion loved their sushi dish. No pressure to move on once you have finished and so you can chill out with a beer after you have eaten also. Staff friendly (menus in German but then I didn't ask for an English one) and good value for money €65 for 4 of us with drinks and tip in that price.

As soon as we were seated, the waitress served us a sample sushi piece as an amuse bouche. First time this has happened in a Japanese restaurant for me as I'm used to edamame, not a sushi roll! We tried the sushi roll and it was actually really good! I would like to know what roll it was so I could order that next time! For drinks, we just ordered jasmine tea and for our entree, we went with the Misaki mixed plate 2 which comprised of 2 special rolls (your choice) 2 nigiri pcs (your choice) about 8 pcs of sashimi, a tuna roll and 4 pcs of shrimp tempura. It's a pretty good deal for only 28 euros. There's also a 48 and a 98 euros mixed plate. The 98 euro sushi boat looked really good! Anyways, for our 2 special rolls we ordered the duck roll and the peperoni roll. For the nigiri pcs we ordered one sake and one hamachi. The mixed plate came out pretty quickly and we enjoyed everything! The sashimi pcs were really fresh. The duck roll was interesting. The duck pcs tasted like peking duck. The peperoni roll was good as well. Not sure why it was called peperoni, it looked like it had tempura asparagus in it topped with salmon? It was tasty though. After our entree, we had plenty of room for dessert and ordered one of each - the fried bananas w/ honey and the ice box which was vanilla ice cream with crepe and raspberry sauce. Both desserts were really excellent. The vanilla ice cream was actually a good addtion for the banana and honey dessert. All in all, we'd definitely recommend this place for their sushi! Everything was delicious and the service was great!

What I like about this place: 1) they give you unagi sauce…read moreand mayo with the soy sauce which both taste great! 2) The sushi are Creative and pretty overwhelming in taste. What I dislike: 1) The Service and staff is absolutely ridiculous. I understand you guys got some fame now though online ratings but the staff truly doesn't give a shit about you. First time we came we asked if the kitchen is still open if we come in 20 minutes. They said yes, we arrived in 15 minutes to find out their kitchen closed. No apology, just a "well you've to come earlier" (but I just talked to you on the phone). Second time we came 2 orders were taken incorrectly and they made us feel guilty about not telling them right away when we got the sushi (well, it all looks the same to us) 2) The sushi quality is middle class. Don't go with the nigiri you'll be disappointed. It's not worth the price. Conclusion: if you like fancy special rolls, you love it when it's saucy - this place is worth to check out. The taste of the special rolls are great! If you care about having a good experience or authentic or quality sushi. Skip this place. Note that parking is a catastrophe! What we ordered and liked ranked from most favorite to least favorite: 1) Unique Lady roll (was good!) 2) Crazy Man Roll (nice Sauce that tastes a bit like Marmelade) 3) Hot Strong Tempura roll (would skip) 4) Crispy dream roll (definitely skip)
