I'd say this place was okay. I was extremely hungry from all the walking around the city, so my husband and I stopped by here to satisfy some cravings. It got busy once we entered, so service was so-so. The place was clean, and there was so many choices. One thing I have to admit is that the server asked whether we wanted the items heated, which was going above and beyond.
The food itself was okay. Even while warm, the flavor just wasn't as punchy, or as fresh as we had at other places. The pretzel was almost hard (probably due to the cold). The tarte flambe didn't look like the tarte flambe we'd encountered anywhere else - looked more like a thinner pizza that could be rolled.
I'd say only go here if you're in the area and hungry. There are definitely more choices around that have fresh, flaky, tasty pastries! read more
